If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/8/12

It’s the middle of the week and I couldn’t be more excited. There are some great shows on tonight—episodes I’ve been waiting weeks for—so I’m all ready to curl up and watch. What about you? What are you planning to watch?

Jenny’s Choice #1

If you’re a Criminal Minds fan—or rather, specifically, a Morgan/Garcia shipper—tonight’s episode is a Do. Not. Miss. For years, we’ve been taunted with sweet, cute, and sexy nicknames, flirting—both harmless and shameless—and sultry looks, as well as an occasional “I love you” thrown into the mix. Of course, Garcia has a boyfriend, but come on… You KNOW she wants to be with Morgan! The last couple of seasons, with a few exceptions, I’ve been really let down as a Morgan/Garcia shipper, though. Things aren’t as intense between the two as they had been. There are still moments, and they make me happy, but I’ve really all but given up hope…until recently. After reading spoilers about the episode and seeing some photos (click on the one to the left to see a bigger version, people!), I have to say I’m more excited about this episode as a M/G shipper than I have been in a long time. I just hope I don’t end up too disappointed! lol Another reason I’m excited about this episode, because one of my long-time TV crushes, Dean Cain (Clark Kent/Superman on Lois & Clark) is guest starring. Yay!

On tonight’s episode, “Snake Eyes,” the BAU tries their luck in Atlantic City when the team is called in to investigate a series of ritualistic casino-related murders. Also, after a spat with her boyfriend, Kevin, Garcia thinks she and Morgan may have gotten a little too friendly with each other. *squee*

Don’t miss it tonight on CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Criminal Minds @ Clicker.

Put on your track suits and get your Redbull – it’s time to watch a new episode of Suburgatory. This is one of those shows that I can’t help but love every episode. I adore this cast and the chemistry. Jeremy Sisto is so adorable as the single dad, George. Last episode, we saw the men head to Atlantic city on a little casino trip, and Tessa try to move forward with Scott Strauss. Scott tells Tessa they need to take it slow because he saw some crazy stuff while in Africa. However, when George gets home, he finds the special love box that Lisa gave Tessa that contains condoms, the very reason he moved them out of the city – what now?

On tonight’s episode, “Sex and the Suburbs,” George panics when he thinks Tessa’s relationship with Scott Strauss may be heating up, so he tries to keep an eye on her by planning game nights at home with her friends. Meanwhile, Tessa gets a kick out of showing off her romance to Dalia.

To see George fret over his daughter’s sex life, tune in to ABC at 8:30/7:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of Surburgatory @ Clicker.

We left off with Revenge and the Hamptons after Daniel had planned a romantic proposal to ask Emily to marry him. Charlotte was devastated when she learned that she had to move back home with her mother. Also, Jack’s life was put in jeopardy when he was betrayed, and Nolan forced Emily to think twice about her actions.

On an all new episode, “Perception,” the atmosphere is full of nerves and excitement for Daniel and Emily’s upcoming engagement party. However, things start to unravel in quite the quick fashion. Victoria tries to regain the upper hand in her divorce from Conrad by using his father against him. Jack finds himself wandering deeper into the fray of things, and the rug ends up pulled out from under Charlotte, and even more so from Emily.

It all goes down at 10/9c on ABC! Learn where to find episodes online of Revenge @ Clicker.

I continue to be amazed at what the contestants on Face Off are able to come up with in such a short time. There are 10 contestants left, and it’s tough to predict a winner. It seems like people who are great one week are in the bottom the next, and vice-versa. Like most competition reality shows, tempers always seem to reach a boiling point when these alpha personalities are forced to work in teams, and that’s when people start throwing each other under the bus come judgement time.

Tonight’s episode, “Dangerous Beauty,” starts off with a Foundation Challenge, in which Sam Huntington (Being Human) appears as a guest judge to decide which contestant’s werewolf wound makeup is the best. (Last week, I got to participate in a Q&A with Sam, where he discussed his appearance on the show.) Then, in this week’s Spotlight Challenge, the contestants must work in pairs to make an original creature that is both beautiful and deadly, using poisonous plants and wild animals for inspiration. Vivica A. Fox serves as a guest judge to help decide which of the contestants must go home.

See the fun tonight on Syfy at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Face Off @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching the entire ABC lineup, and DVRing Criminal Minds, CSI, Royal Pains, and Top Chef for later!

I know I’ve said this before, but I’m so happy with this season of Law & Order: SVU. I was burned out on the show last season. I used to love Benson & Stabler—yes, I’ll admit for a while, I was kind of a shipper…—but last season, I pretty much quit watching regularly, just tuning in if the case seemed interesting or if there was a guest star I liked. Stabler had become so angry all the time that he wasn’t as fun to watch, and Benson seemed like she was hardly ever there. So now that Stabler is gone, Benson is here regularly, and 2 new detectives (who I am loving) are rounding out the cast, it’s become a must watch for me again. I think Amaro is complementing Benson nicely. I wish we saw more of Kelli Giddish’s Detective Rollins, because I’ve loved her character when she’s been front and center. Another thing I’m digging right now is seeing Benson developing feelings for and starting a relationship with Executive ADA David Haden (Harry Connick Jr, who I love). She’s been alone for WAY too long, and he’s just a cool guy.

On tonight’s episode, “Father’s Shadow,” an aspiring actress is found unconscious in Central Park with drugs in her system and evidence of sexual trauma. Detectives Benson and Amaro pay a visit to the reality show producer for whom she had auditioned just before the attack and stop him from assaulting another actress on the casting couch. The detectives arrest the producer, but the situation turns dangerous when his distraught son takes drastic action in order to get his father out of jail. Meanwhile, Benson and Executive ADA David Haden grow closer. Harry Connick Jr., country singer (& wife of The Voice judge, Blake Shelton) Miranda Lambert, and Michael McKean (who has guest starred in so much, you’ll recognize him instantly if you don’t know the name) guest star.

Check it out tonight on NBC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Law & Order: SVU @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be tuning in to almost all the ABC comedies, American Idol, Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy, Hot in Cleveland, Restaurant: Impossible, & Royal Pains.

The auditions are over on American Idol, and it’s time to head to Hollywood. This is the point where we separate the good from the great. I also love Hollywood week for the unbelievable drama as the contestants work together in groups, deal with sleep deprivation, and ultimately are faced with what this competition is all about.

On tonight’s episode, it’s the first day of Hollywood auditions.

To see who can handle the pressure, tune in to FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of American Idol @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, CSI, One Tree Hill, and Remodeled.

When last we left the Heck family on The Middle, Frankie didn’t get the volunteer job she was hoping for—instead, she was supposed to park cars a hundred miles from the stadium. Then she “borrowed” her neighbor’s car, which she was supposed to just park in their garage, and the whole family ended up using it in one way or another, trashing it. They cleaned it up just in time, though. We also saw Sue and her boyfriend, and Sue seemed happy because they both said “I love you.”

Tonight, on an all new episode, “Valentine’s Day III,” Frankie and Mike decide to try a fresh approach to Valentine’s Day by having dinner out with friends. However, clueless Mike gets Frankie angry when he refuses to present her with a simple romance gesture. Also, Axl can’t think of a life changing moment that has happend to him in order to write a school paper on the subject. Brick has to write a report on love, and Sue doesn’t understand why her new boyfriend Matt has suddenly turned into a bad kisser.

Tune in at 8/7c for a heck of a good laugh on ABC. Learn where to find episodes online of The Middle @ Clicker.

I’m in the mood for a block full of laughs tonight, so I’ll also be watching Suburgatory, Modern Family, and Happy Endings to tickle my funny bone!
