I love Spartacus because the time period is such interesting and rich, it is a true shame there aren’t more series covering it. Even if there were more series Spartacus would rule all because they have great characters/actors and they don’t pull punches on the sex and violence. Thanks for the chance.

The show actually started out pretty bad with the pilot, but just got better and better with each episode of the first season. The shield jump scene in the finale was amazing.
Despite every (sad and unfortunate) wrench being thrown at the series ever since its first season, Spartacus has adapted and changed gears more effectively than any other show that loses it’s star actor. The writing, plots and twists keep making the show better each week. It’s one of the best hours on TV, and is one of my favorites every week…
Starz hit a homerun with this series! What I love most about this is the inspiring story that is captured by the series – that we are all capable of arising from adversity and strive to achieve greatness.
The show has been very gritty and entertaining. I’m very interested in seeing the extras on the DVDs.
