Community made its triumphant return last Thursday to the sincere delight of its masses of fans. Last week, Andre (guest star Malcolm-Jamal Warner) proposed to Shirley in the college cafeteria, and the two decided to remarry. Britta and Annie got wedding fever and thought that they could help Andre and Shirley plan everything, while Jeff tried to prepare a speech as best he could. Meanwhile, Pierce and Shirley presented the Dean with an idea for a sandwich shop, which was well received but then stolen away.
On tonight’s episode, “Contemporary Impressionists,” Britta tries to help Jeff with his extreme narcissism, and the group works as celebrity impersonators to help Abed pay down a debt.

I wasn’t too sure whether or not I’d like Kiefer Sutherland’s latest drama, Touch. But from minute one of the pilot, I was absolutely hooked. You can’t help but feel your heart break when Dad, Martin (Sutherland), when he is unable to truly communicate with his son, who has never spoken a word in his life. One of the coolest parts for me was the voiceover by young Jake (played by the adorable David Mazouz). That gave us a real peek into Jake’s head, since we couldn’t use his words or even his body language to understand him. Jake doesn’t like to be touched (even by his father), and he is obsessed with numbers. And when the State basically tries to take Jake away from his father (which made no sense to me, since all 3 times the kid disappeared, he was in the care of the SCHOOL, not at HOME! but whatever), Martin finally figures out that Jake is trying in his own way to communicate. If you saw the pilot and were like me, then you tried to figure out all the connections Jake was making throughout the episode. I was successful in some ways (I figured out SOMETHING was going to happen to the bus) and not in others (but totally didn’t see the guy that Martin fought with at the gas station & pay phone being the guy who tried to rescue his wife or the guy who rescued the kids from the bus). All in all, it intrigued me, and I can’t wait to see more tonight.
On tonight’s episode, “1+1=3,” Martin Bohm, a widower and single father trying to connect with his mute 11-year-old son Jake, is led to a pawn shop where a robbery triggers a sequence of unpredictable events that connect a distraught flight attendant in New York, a son visiting from India on a mission to spread his father’s ashes, a middle school magician in Moscow, a cancer patient in New York, and a mobster in the Bronx. It’s up to Jake and Martin to link the thread between them all.

Thursday nights on The CW are full of sexy supernatural shows, with The Secret Circle bringing us some intense magic at 9/8c, following The Vampire Diaries. I love The Secret Circle and all the drama that comes with teenage witches. Drama is definitely running rampant with Blackwell back and with Cassie unsure of who to trust. Although, we have been privy to knowing that Cassie and Adam are growing into something amazing, and you know that’s going to cause conflict, because that’s how all good drama starts. 😀
On tonight’s episode, “Curse,” Blackwell warns Cassie and Adam that their love may be destiny, but it’s also a curse. He suggests they go visit her grandmother, Jane, to find out if there is a spell to reverse it. Jane warns Cassie that someone in the Circle will die if the curse is awakened. Meanwhile, Eva starts stalking Faye, and Charles makes his next move against Blackwell.
To see what kind of trouble these young witches can conjure up, tune in to The CW at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Secret Circle @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching The Vampire Diaries, American Idol, Missing, Community, and Awake.

When I sat down to watch last week’s series premiere of Missing, all I knew about the show was that there was a mother looking for her kidnapped son. So I was completely shocked when Ashley Judd’s character single-handedly took out an armed assassin and spoke fluent Italian. I was so glad I hadn’t heard of this former-CIA aspect, because it made the show that much more surprising and exciting. It was also a shocker near the end of the episode when Becca found the envelope of pictures and discovered that someone had been following her son for the past 10 years.
The pilot ended with Becca shot and falling into the ocean, so I’m wondering if she will have a Bourne Identity-type memory loss in tonight’s episode. I can’t wait to see more of this show. It has great action and wonderful international locales. I just hope that by the end of the season, we get some resolution to the kidnapped son story.
In tonight’s episode, “The Hard Drive,” Becca makes a deal with the head of French Intelligence while searching for her missing son, but the agreement comes with serious moral complications.
See it tonight on ABC at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Missing @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching Community, 30 Rock, Up All Night, Awake, Touch, and Sweet Genius.
