If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/27/12

It’s Tuesday, and I’m so excited about that because there is a ton of great TV on tonight. I hope you’re all caught up, because after tonight, your schedule and your DVR are going to be packed! To help you figure out what is a must-watch, check out our picks for tonight.

Jenny’s Choice #1

I’ve really been loving Body of Proof lately. I’ve always enjoyed it, but now that Megan has a boyfriend (played by the adorably sexy Jamie Bamber), I can’t help but love it even more. LOL And two weeks ago on the last new episode, they were finally ready to step their relationship up a little, but then Lacey, Megan’s daughter, was discovered unconscious by her grandmother (Megan’s mother, Joan) and diagnosed at the hospital as having Type 1 diabetes. Those scenes were just amazingly well done by all 3 of them, and I’m hoping that doesn’t make Megan break it off with Aidan. The case on the last episode was extremely heartwrenching. Two teenage girls, one dead, one so swollen and bruised that you couldn’t see distinguishing features, and there was a mix up…and the parents were all told the wrong girl was dead. So one set of parents had their lives blown apart and then miraculously put back together when they learned they had their daughter back, and the other had the floor disappear under their feet when the girl they thought was theirs turned out to be her friend and their daughter was actually down in the morgue. As a parent, I can’t even imagine how that must feel. This week is part one of a two-part episode, and from the previews, it looks like it’s going to be sad, scary, and incredibly exciting to watch!

On tonight’s episode, “Going Viral: Part 1,” the team is up against a city-wide outbreak of a virus after groups of people start dying from similar symptoms. No one is safe, including Megan and her team. Center for Disease Control Officer Charlie Stafford (played by the always sexy Luke Perry!) joins the case in order to figure out not only what caused the outbreak, but who. Also guest starring is Dean Norris (Breaking Bad).

Do NOT miss it tonight on ABC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Body of Proof @ Clicker.

This season of NCIS: LA has been pushing all the boundaries, but I love how they are also bringing some great character-driven story lines. Last week, we watched a family get reunited and enjoyed some great team growth. I love this cast and the partnerships – also helps they are yummy. 😉 I just want to see Kensi and Deeks actually hook up – soon!

On tonight’s all new episode, “Vengeance,” when the body of a Navy Intel Officer is found, evidence points to a team of Navy SEALs who are about to depart on a hostage rescue mission, leaving former Navy SEAL Sam Hanna to interrogate the group and possibly compromise the mission.

To see your favorite sexy agents, tune in to CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of NCIS: LA @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching Body of Proof, NCIS, New Girl, Breaking In, and Unforgettable.

Kyle’s Choice

Tonight, we get a double-dose of Raising Hope – one all new episode followed by a rerun of the fantastic “Jimmy’s Fake Girlfriend.” I guess FOX finally realized there was nothing funny about I Hate My Teenage Daughter and pulled it from their Tuesday comedy block! (I can feel Jenny giving me the evil eye. ;))

Last week’s episode was a great mix of fun and heart – something this show does really well. Virginia took a job as a house sitter for a teenager, but when she discovered that Natalie was planning to have sex with her boyfriend, she tried to stop her from making the same mistake she did. Meanwhile, Maw Maw once again mistook Jimmy for her late husband. At first, Jimmy took advantage of the situation, but in the end, he gave Maw Maw the happy anniversary she never received. And Burt admitted that he purposely got Virginia pregnant in order to make sure she didn’t leave him for someone better.

In tonight’s episode, “Hogging All the Glory,” Burt runs for the chair of a Natesville church group against a holier-than-thou busybody, but his campaign might be over in a hurry unless he can find a replacement for a blind church member’s guide pig before his opponent finds out. Vivica A. Fox and David Krumholtz (The Playboy Club, Numb3rs) guest star.

See it tonight on FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Raising Hope @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching Body of Proof, New Girl, and Breaking In.

Last week on New Girl, Jess got into a scuffle with one of her student’s parents, and all of the roommates told her that she had to kiss his butt so that he didn’t pull the funding that he provides the school. Jess, being the independent woman she is, wouldn’t hear of bowing down and even tried as hard as possible to keep away from Russell’s generosity. Even if Jess isn’t ready to admit to herself that she may be smitten with Russell, she agrees to go on a date with him. Will Jess find a way to look at Russell in a new light?

On an all new episode, “Fancyman,” Jess’s date with one of her student’s handsome father, Russell (guest star Dermot Mulroney), does not go as planned. Meanwhile, Nick’s college roommate tries to help him get over Julia, and Schmidt and Cece’s relationship is discovered by one of the roommates.

Tune in to get a pile of laughs at 9/8c on FOX! Learn where to find episodes online of New Girl @ Clicker.

I am also watching Raising Hope, Dance Moms, and Breaking In tonight!

I can’t NOT recommend Justified tonight. This show is like crack—or something. LOL All I know is I’m totally addicted to it. Last week, I totally asked my husband, “Do you think this bartender chicky is going to be a love interest—or at least a love right now interest—for Raylan?” about two minutes before they were having sex up in his apartment. That whole scene with Raylan facing off against Quarles in the bar was fantastic. And I just love Boyd. He’s my second favorite character after Raylan. lol Tonight should have plenty of both, so I’m looking forward to it!

On tonight’s episode, “Measures,” Raylan must fight for his survival when a deadly duo of hitmen arrive from Detroit to hunt the lawman down. Boyd and Quarles finally face off with one another in order to put an end to the feud that has engulfed their lives.

See it tonight on FX at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Justified @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’m also going to be watching NCIS, NCIS: LA, Breaking In, Top Shot, & Unforgettable.
