If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/30/12

TGIF! In Canada, Mother Nature is messed up lately. It was unseasonably, warm but now it’s practically snowing today, so I think that Father Time must have pissed off Mother Nature and we’re paying for it! To help you deal with the drama that comes from all this weather, sit back and enjoy some new shows. Let’s see what you should be watching.

It’s been a bit since an all new episode of Grimm, so I’m extra excited for tonight’s episode. When we left Nick, he was facing some relationship issues with Juliette: she was tired of his job and the stress it brings. I couldn’t be happier at the prospect of Juliette leaving, because she annoys the hell out of me. Nick just needs to focus on being the best Grimm he can be and enjoy his bromance with Monroe. 🙂

On tonight’s episode, “Island of Dreams,” Nick and Monroe investigate the murder of a spice-shop owner, and the victim’s sister may prove to be an ally for Nick. Captain Renard recruits Adalind to hex Hank; Sgt. Wu gets caught up in Adalind’s scheme.

To see if Nick and Monroe can solve this crime and if Hank is ever useful, tune in to NBC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Grimm @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching and recording Supernatural, CSI: NY, and Blue Bloods.

How good was last week’s episode of Nikita? There was tons of great stuff happening for the Michael/Nikita relationship. He said a final goodbye to Cassandra and his son, which was sad, but what he told Cassandra about Nikita being what he wanted and what kept him sane (basically lol) was just fantastic. The entire end stuff, where he says goodbye, where Nikita calls him after jumping out of the plane, which they blew up, and his relief at hearing she was safe… Gah! lol And then all the Alex stuff with her mother, Amanda, and Ari, and Semak’s death (which admittedly was a little anti-climactic…). My favorite scene would have to have been when Michael, Nikita, & Cassandra took out the MI-6 guys at the airport. For some reason, that was just really fun. Overall, there were things that could have been better, but it was a good episode.

On tonight’s episode, “Power,” Amanda and Ari set up a board meeting with Zetrov and prepare to take over the company. After a heated face-to-face confrontation between Nikita and Amanda, Nikita recalls what Amanda was like when she was first brought to Division. Meanwhile, Alex surprises Ari by showing up at the board meeting with an old and powerful friend.

Check it out tonight on The CW at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Nikita @ Clicker.

Tonight is the season finale of Spartacus: Vengeance. Last week, Spartacus and his crew were attacked by the Romans and Ashur’s army of thugs. They managed to retreat out a secret passage, only to face an attack by more Romans. The gang finally escaped by making their way into the mountains, but Glaber vowed to wait them out. Meanwhile, Seppia attempted to avenge her brother’s death by killing Glaber, but Ilithyia grabbed the knife and turned it back on her.

Spartacus and his gang eventually need to come down from the mountain and face Glaber and his army. Who will win, and who will survive? This is one aspect of the show I love – you never know who is going to last the season! Will Ashur finally get his comeuppance, or will he gain his freedom, the ludas, and Lucretia? If Spartacus does manage to eliminate Glaber, what is his next obstacle or target of vengeance?! Tonight should be a fun, bloody battle, and I can’t wait to watch!

In tonight’s episode, “Wrath of the Gods,” supply shortages and a superior Roman force threaten to halt the rebellion as Spartacus tries to rally his troops in the face of a final onslaught from Glaber’s army.

Catch the finale tonight on Starz at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Spartacus: Vengeance @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching Fringe, Fairly Legal, In Plain Sight, Supernatural, Grimm, Primetime: What Would You Do? and Kitchen Nightmares.

Last week on In Plain Sight, Mary continued to struggle with her duties for WITSEC and as a mother when a hoarder witnessed a violent murder. Also, one of Mary’s old witnesses thought that his cover might be blown, so he tried to get Mary’s help. Later, he decided that he didn’t want to be in WITSEC anymore and would rather try to survive on his own. Marshall took on some light babysitting duties for Mary while she was out in the field, and a new agent found herself in a tough position.

On tonight’s episode, “Reservations, I’ve Got a Few,” Marshall’s witness disappears, and both Mary and Marshall get some needed help from a Native American detective in order to find him.

Go off the reservation tonight at 10/9c on USA. Learn where to find episodes online of In Plain Sight @ Clicker.

Tonight, I am also watching Fairly Legal and Grimm!

It’s been way too long (about 7 weeks!) since the last new episode of CSI: NY. Since this may very well be the last season, I have to admit I’m really bummed that we had this huge break. 🙁 But the show comes back strong tonight with a pretty neat episode. I’ve seen it already, so I can tell you that it involves several flashbacks, a copycat case, and all our favorite New York CSIs doing what they do best. So don’t miss it if you’re a fan of the show. 🙂

On tonight’s episode, “Flash Pop,” when a lab tech is murdered in a case that has eerie similarities to a 1950’s cold case, the CSIs get a glimpse into what goes on in the shadows of the lab. Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man) guest stars as Paul Burton, the retired detective who investigated the original murder case, and Spencer Grammer and Aaron Hill (Greek) guest star as crime lab techs.

See it tonight on CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of CSI: NY @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’m also going to be watching/DVRing Grimm, Blue Bloods, & Fairly Legal.
