If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/10/12

I am still so backed up in my TV watching thanks to my busy PAX East/Easter weekend. Tonight I’m filling in at the last minute on the TV Times Three Podcast, so I will probably fall even further behind. However, Tuesdays are a relatively light night for TV for me. Though, that still doesn’t mean there’s hardly anything on! 🙂 Read on to see what we’re recommending you check out tonight.

Last week on Raising Hope, Jimmy discovered that Sabrina has a habit of having backups of everything – including a spare Jimmy. So each time Sabrina found a handsome new study partner, Jimmy worked on sabotaging things. Meanwhile, Burt became mesmerized by musical dancing breasts on the wall, and every guy who passed by the Chance’s front window joined in on his obsession. However, once Burt saw Hope emulating the musical dance number, he got rid of it.

I thought the discovery of Sabrina’s spare everything was so funny – like one of those horror film realizations. Also, the dancing breasts with the coconut bra and “lovely bunch of coconuts” playing was genius. If this is not already a real product, I’m sure it will be soon! This show is always hilarious, and they do a great job of blending humor, heart, and some kind of lesson-learning each week.

In tonight’s episode, “Inside Probe,” the sensational story of Hope’s mother, serial killer Lucy Carlisle, is the subject of a tabloid TV show, giving the Chances the opportunity to recall their accounts of what happened when Jimmy met the now-deceased felon.

See it tonight on FOX at 9:31/8:31c. Learn where to find episodes online of Raising Hope @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be recording/watching Last Man Standing, Cougar Town, Body of Proof, The Voice, Glee, New Girl, Chopped, and No Kitchen Required.

Justified has had another amazing season. This show is so addictive. I haven’t liked Quarles as much as I liked Mags Bennett last season, but he is a conniving, cunning little piece of crap, isn’t he? I love that he is going against Boyd and Raylan. And after last episode, with Quarles having killed Raylan’s friend, Tom, and being partially on fire himself after Winn’s man blew up the car, and Boyd gone, things are going to be CRAZY for the season finale. Will Raylan get his man? I have no doubt, really. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Raylan always gets his man.

On tonight’s episode, “Slaughterhouse,” after the murder of his friend, Raylan is a man on fire as he goes after any- and everyone he holds responsible on the way to a bloody final showdown.

Catch it tonight on FX at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Justified @ Clicker.

The past two weeks on Body of Proof have been insanely emotional. People dying from a crazy virus spread by a madman, including Peter losing Dani to this disease. Luke Perry was guest starring in all his deliciousness as a doctor from the CDC, and that was one of the highlights. This two-part storyline was traumatic and had edge of your seat twists – well done! Seeing as tonight is the season finale of the show, I’m sure this episode is going to be equally stressful. 🙂

On tonight’s new episode, “Mind Games,” when a cause of death seems all too familiar, Megan is forced to come face-to-face with a serial killer she helped put away.

Tune in to ABC to watch this chilling season finale at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Body of Proof @ Clicker.

The biggest cliffhanger of them all left Glee fans stranded and stunned! For weeks, Gleeks were up in arms not knowing whether or not Quinn survived the car accident she got in after texting while driving. Not only that, they were on the edge of their seat wondering if Rachel and Finn actually made it down the aisle to marriage. It’s been a tense few weeks with nails being bitten and hair being pulled out. The wait is finally over and fate has been decided, because tonight is the night where all questions are answered.

On tonight’s smoking episode, “Big Brother,” Blaine’s uber hot-shot actor brother, Cooper (guest star Matt Bomer, White Collar), takes a visit to Lima.

It’s been a couple of weeks since the last episode of NCIS, and that one was a doozy. Director Vance’s brother-in-law, Michael, was accused of murder. At first, they worried he was guilty. Then they believed he was innocent, but then at the end, it came out that the guy was involved with a gambling ring, and when he & the victim got into a fight, Michael accidentally killed the man. It was heartbreaking to watch Vance and his wife, not to mention his kids. I’m excited about tonight’s episode, because Tony & Ziva go to Columbia, & we get to meet Ziva’s friend & mentor.

On tonight’s episode, “The Missionary Position,” following the murder of a Marine, Tony and Ziva join Ziva’s longtime friend and mentor in Columbia in a search for a missing Marine Lieutenant and Navy Chaplain. Meanwhile, Jimmy Palmer decides who will be his best man. Jamie Lee Curtis and Karina Lombard (The L Word) guest star.

See it tonight on CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of NCIS @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Last Man Standing, Cougar Town, NCIS: LA, Raising Hope, Unforgettable, Chopped, & Body of Proof.

NCIS: LA is one of those shows I never get tired of, but tonight, I am super excited. NATE IS BACK!! Ok, so at the moment, the cutie is only on for one episode, but who cares. It’s still Nate! It’s like a happy family all together again – or will it be happy? Drama is sure to unfold as usual. 🙂

On tonight’s episode, “Patriot Acts,” when a former Marine is suspected of creating a chemical bomb, the team joins the FBI’s domestic terrorist task force, including Operational Psychologist Nate Getz.

To see the return of Nate, tune in to CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of NCIS: LA @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Glee, New Girl, NCIS, Last Man Standing, The Voice, and Unforgettable.

Last week on New Girl, the secret came out! Jess learned that CeCe has been sleeping with Schmidt, and it did not go over well. Their friendship was tested, but in the end, Jess relented, because it seems like CeCe may have a few more feelings for Schmidt than she is letting on. Meanwhile, Nick asked Schmidt for dating advice when he was having trouble juggling the twenty-year-olds he was sleeping with. You know Nick is hitting a low point when he asks Schmidt for dating advice. After studying the ways of the Schmidt Jedi, Nick was fully schooled.

On tonight’s new episode, “Normal,” Jess nervously invites Russell to spend the weekend at the loft, and Winston gets a job at a sports radio station.

Be ready to giggle at 9/8c on FOX! Learn where to find episodes online of New Girl @ Clicker.

Tonight, I am also watching Raising Hope, Cougar Town, and Breaking In!
