Jenny’s Thoughts: I love the premise of this (like one of my other favorite shows ever, Jericho), and the cast is fantastic. Plus, it’s from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke, so it’s got a brilliant backbone to it. Here’s hoping it’s a hit! – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: I am getting a little sick of the “end of the world”-type shows that pull me in and then disappoint. However, it is from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke – and I admit that I was drawn in by the fight scenes, so I’m intrigued, for sure. – Curious
Kyle’s Thoughts: This looks awesome – action, adventure, mystery! It’s like Jericho meets The Event meets Terra Nova and a lot of other epic series. I just hope it doesn’t go the route of those other shows. But I hope J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke have another big hit on their hands! – Excited

Jenny’s Thoughts: I really enjoyed the trailer a lot. Matthew Perry looks just sarcastic enough, but I’m worried about the fact that his wife just died a month before the show starts. It’s a comedy, so will it be too dark? I dunno. Also, I’ve heard comparisons to Community, which I don’t like or watch, so… I’m curious, but not TOO excited. – Curious
Megan’s Thoughts: I really liked this trailer, and I loved Matthew Perry in it. This is an interesting premise, and I think that it’s a good way to approach a messy topic like grief. I’ll be watching. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: This looks fun, uplifting, and entertaining, and a good role for Matthew Perry. My only fear is that it seems more like a film, and I’m not sure how they will stretch it out for a weekly series. Seems almost like Community, but instead of a study group, it’s group therapy. – Curious

Jenny’s Thoughts: When I first heard about this, I had an idea of what it might be like, and I wasn’t really excited about it. But after watching the trailer, it looks so cute and heartwarming that I can’t help but want to see more. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: This looks really amusing, and I can’t help it… The humor was just offside enough that I was cracking up. I’m hoping it’s going to be one of those comedies that touches on the risque subjects and helps starts a conversation about them. I loved the line about “A family is a family, and love is love.” It’s a cute comedy with a sweet cast and a moral undertone. I’m in. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: While I like the cast, this really didn’t do anything for me. I didn’t really find it funny, and once again, it seems more like a film premise rather than a weekly series. – Most likely 1 and done

Jenny’s Thoughts: This trailer had me cracking up like crazy. I want to see more – NOW. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: Anyone else think this is House for animals? 🙂 It’s not that I didn’t like it; I’m just cautious and need to see more before I get all excited. – Curious
Kyle’s Thoughts: The scene with the monkey riding the remote controlled ambulance kills me every time. This looks like it could be hilarious – and Justin Kirk was always funny on Weeds. – Excited

Jenny’s Thoughts: I enjoyed this trailer. Anthony Anderson’s character reminded me of the character he played in The Back-up Plan, and I loved his short scene in that movie. I think this one may be more popular with parents, but for me, I really laughed at the trailer. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: As a parent, I was giggling from the beginning of the clip to the end. I loved the babies in carriers with the dads, even in the bar. The cast is stellar, and I think they may have a hit on their hands. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: I like some of the cast but didn’t find the trailer all that funny. Perhaps if I was a guy with kids, I could relate better. 🙂 With Jimmy Fallon involved, I’ll give it a little leeway and a few episodes. – Curious
Link to Chicago Fire on NBC.com.
Jenny’s Thoughts: Yummy hot guys, and I think it’s a drama that I can get behind. I’m excited to see it and see if it lives up to my expectations from the trailer. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: Firefighters, drama, good writing, and did I mention hot firefighters? It looks like a good drama, and I’m hoping it’s heavy on the rescue drama with only a slight sexual undertone because otherwise, it’ll just be Grey’s Anatomy or Private Practice but with fire instead of medicine. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: Looks like your typical emergency response show. We haven’t had a new one of these in a while – last ones I remember were Mercy and Trauma. It has a good cast and it’s from Dick Wolf (though I never watched Law & Order), so I’ll give it a try. – Curious

Jenny’s Thoughts: I loved the clips, but I’m worried it’ll be too frustrating for me if we get no answers. I love the cast and premise, though, so definitely going to give it a chance. – Curious
Megan’s Thoughts: This premise looks interesting, and I’m always up for a good Jekyll & Hyde story. I’ll give it a shot. – Curious
Kyle’s Thoughts: From the clips, this looks like yet another Jekyll & Hyde type show. We’ve already had My Own Worst Enemy and Jekyll. I liked Steven Pasquale on Rescue Me, so I’ll give it a shot. – Curious
Link to Infamous info & clips on NBC.com.
Jenny’s Thoughts: From the clips, it looks ok. The description… Well, much like Revenge and other dramas, I think this is too much “drama” and not enough “cop” show for me. I like Victor Garber enough to make me want to watch, but not when he’s not the good guy. – Not even 1 and done. I’m going to skip this one.
Megan’s Thoughts: I’m not loving the premise yet, and there may be one too many crime/mystery dramas on this new season already. – Curious
Kyle’s Thoughts: While I like Victor Garber from his Alias days, I have a feeling I won’t stick with this. From the clips, it looks like another generic FBI agent show. – Most likely 1 and done

Jenny’s Thoughts: I like Dane Cook, Jeffrey Tambor, Collette Wolf, and Joy Osmanski. The clips were funny. But I can see how Cam’s seemingly chauvinistic attitude toward women and Stella’s hyperactivity could get annoying. I’m mildly cautious about this new comedy. – Curious
Megan’s Thoughts: Anything that has Dane Cook in it will be watched and loved by me. I love him, and I will never again be able to hear someone say “Oh Yeah” without thinking about the Kool-Aid Man. – SO Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: While the clips didn’t have me laughing out loud, it’s got a funny cast and a good (though a bit dated) premise – who actually listens to radio talk shows anymore?! 🙂 I don’t know why some people hate Dane Cook, but I still find him amusing. – Curious

Jenny’s Thoughts: I loved Anne Heche in Men in Trees, but her character in this one is…quite a bit kookier. I like Michael Landes, who plays her husband. Her perky attitude may get too annoying, but for now, I’m interested to see if it makes me laugh enough like the clips did. – Curious
Megan’s Thoughts: This show looks a little hokey to me, but I love Anne Heche, so despite my nauseated feeling watching the clips, I’ll give it a shot. – Most likely 1 and done
Kyle’s Thoughts: From the clips, this looks so boring and so unoriginal – feels like a re-hash of A Gifted Man, Eli Stone, Joan of Arcadia, The Big C, and Saving Grace. While it’s got a good cast, it’s… – Most likely 1 and done
Link to Saving Hope info & clips on NBC.com.
Jenny’s Thoughts: I realize that this one probably won’t last long because, like Kyle, I’m guessing it’s a summer burn-off, but still… I really loved the clips. Plus, it’s got Dr. Daniel Jackson in it! LOL I love Michael Shanks, who is the lead, and it’s got Erica Durance, from Smallville. I have hopes it’ll become popular enough, but not a lot of hope. 😉 – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: I don’t think this show is going to do it for me, or for anyone else. My suspicions are leaning toward a Saturday burn-off. – Most likely 1 and done
Kyle’s Thoughts: Looks somewhat interesting but not incredibly original. Since this is a summer series, I feel like it’s probably just a burn-off of something they ordered last year and will never get picked up or get resolution. For that reason, it’s… – Most likely 1 and done

Jenny’s Thoughts: I love that when you hear the title, you automatically think drama, and Bill Pullman as President also screams it, but this comedy could either turn out to be a little gem or Josh Gad’s screw-up character Skip could be too annoying. Regardless, by cast and premise alone, I’m left excited to see this one. – Excited
Megan’s Thoughts: All right, I was skeptical just looking at this synopsis, but then I saw a clip and I laughed a lot. This may just be shaping up to be an excellent season for comedy. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: I found these clips hilarious – I really like the Jack Black-like Josh Gad. And with Bill Pullman playing the President once again, how could you go wrong?! – Excited
Link to Hannibal info on NBC.com.
Jenny’s Thoughts: There are no clips or trailers for this one, so it’s hard to tell how it’ll be. A lot will depend on who they get to play Hannibal Lecter. The premise is creepy and interesting, and it’s from Bryan Fuller, who was behind one of my favorite shows of all-time, Pushing Daisies, so call me mildly optimistic. – Curious
Megan’s Thoughts: I’m actually really intrigued by this show, and I think if done properly, this could be a super hit. I hope the writers keep the cases brilliant and the story intricate, because then we’ll have a suspense thriller worth watching. – Excited
Kyle’s Thoughts: I’ve enjoyed the Hannibal films, so I’m interested in this show. I think it will all come down to who they get to play the titular character, since I’ll always be comparing him to Anthony Hopkins. – Curious

Jenny’s Thoughts: Again, no clips or trailer for this one. I will admit to being “meh” about pirates, even so far as to having seen one and part of a second of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. That said, I’ll give this one a shot to see if it can capture my interest. – Most likely 1 and done
Megan’s Thoughts: Honestly, the only pirates I want to watch are Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, and even that is a stretch for my tolerance. – Most likely 1 and done
Kyle’s Thoughts: I really like the idea of a pirate show, and this premise sounds great. However, without any clips or cast listed, I don’t want to get too excited – it could end up like NBC’s Crusoe, which never lived up to its potential. – Curious
