If We Controlled Your Remote… 5/22/12

Summer is definitely here! It was the long weekend for Victoria Day in Canada this past weekend, and the temperatures were hot and the sun was shining. Hopefully you all have as much great weather for your long weekend. Tonight is slower than last week, but there’s still a few major finales on tonight, so see what we think you should be watching.

Glee has had a really solid season in my opinion, and I loved last week’s episodes. The character growth has been amazing, and I really like how far Rachel has come not to be as self-centered. The New Directions winning Nationals was far overdue, and I loved seeing Will get teacher of the year. The way that Coach Beiste finally left her husband was long overdue, but again, it’s so easy for people to say “she should have left sooner,” when they aren’t living her life.

On tonight’s season finale, “Goodbye,” graduation is finally here as McKinley High’s Class of 2012 looks to the past and present while contemplating the future. Gloria Estefan guest stars.

To see some of our favorite students graduate, tune in to FOX at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Glee @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching American Idol and The L.A. Complex.

I’m quite enjoying BBC America’s No Kitchen Required. I can never pick a favorite. It seems to rotate each week between Kayne, Madison, or Michael. They’ve been to some great places & had to hunt and cook some WEIRD stuff. I always finding myself turning my head away when they have to go in for the kill on a wild boar or things of that nature. Just more than I can stomach. lol This week, they are back in the US, and I can’t wait to see what they have to hunt and who wins!

On tonight’s episode, “New Mexico,” the chefs head into Apache country and begin their quest to win over the fiercest Native American warriors.

Check it out tonight on BBC America at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of No Kitchen Required @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’m also going to be watching America’s Got Talent.

Two hours of a jam-packed Glee amp’d Gleeks up for fun, laughs, and tears last week! We started off with New Directions preparing for a high concept routine for Nationals from Sue, which involved the use of many props. But when Tina suffered a head injury after falling into a fountain at the mall while texting, her world got turned upside down. The Glee club kids were all someone else, and Tina got a little perspective on what it’s like being Rachel Berry. Next up was Nationals, where the smack down against Vocal Adrenaline and other competing schools was firece! Guest judges Perez Hilton and Lindsay Lohan made the event quite the nail biter. In the end, the smooth moves and sounds of New Directions made them triumphant. And Rachel Berry was able to take another shot at auditioning for NYADA with rave reviews.

Tonight, on “Goodbye,” the Glee club faces graduation and ponders their future. Where will we find the members of New Direction heading to?

Tune in at 9/8c to FOX to say hats off and farewell to the graduating class of ’12! Learn where to find episodes online of Glee @ Clicker.

Tonight, I am also watching American Idol, The L.A. Complex, and Pregnant in Heels!
