I’ll be at the dentist when this posts. Yay me… Hopefully I don’t have to have another root canal done. Best case scenario, I have a crown put on the temporary one I got last summer (losing your job really puts a dent in things like paying $500 or whatever for a crown…). Worst case scenario, I have to redo the root canal done last summer and get another one done on a tooth on the bottom. So keep your fingers crossed. *sigh* Whatever happens, I know I’ll be ready for some great TV tonight, and there is plenty of it, so see what Megan & I think you should be watching. 🙂 (Kyle is home but trying to catch up on sleep after Comic-Con, so he should be back tomorrow. Yay! 🙂 )

Last week’s premiere of Covert Affairs was a doozy. Jai was killed in an explosion after meeting with Annie away from the eyes of the CIA. The only reason Annie wasn’t caught in it was because she forgot her umbrella (thank you, Danielle!). When Annie got back to work, things were very different than they had been the morning of the explosion. It was suddenly all business—from screensavers of fireworks and an almost cheerful air for the 4th of July to nothing but work and somberness. And then she found out she’d be transferred out of Joan’s group. She’s now working with another female CIA agent named Lena, who runs an entirely different type of ship than Joan. Joan is much more about protocol and giving Annie a hand to hold to help lead her, while Lena is basically “let’s shove Annie out into the world on her own and let her figure it out herself.” Neither is necessarily wrong, but it’ll be interesting to see how Annie fares. Last week, she ended up sleeping with her target, which I don’t think she’d have done if on assignment for Joan. Also, Auggie was transferred by Arthur basically into Jai’s old spot—and he wants Auggie to find out why Jai was killed.
So what does this mean for the relationships (professional & personal) between Annie/Auggie and Annie/Joan? I’m not sure. This week, we won’t find out, really, because I know Annie & Auggie go undercover together for a DPD op. So maybe next week? heh By the way, if you’re an Annie/Auggie shipper, don’t miss this episode. lol
On tonight’s episode, “Sound and Vision,” the DPD sends Annie and Auggie on a trip to Spain to track down and acquire a dangerous computer virus, but problems arise when the two agents learn that the virus has also caught China’s attention.
Watch it tonight on USA Network at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Covert Affairs @ Clicker.

Love in the Wild has oddly become one of my favorite reality dating shows (which isn’t saying much, I know), but I enjoy watching the challenges. Last week, we could almost assume going into the show that there wouldn’t have been an elimination because the week before, we’d already lost two couples, and I was right. While no one went home, there was more than enough drama between Ben/Michelle and Chase/Summer—I just have to say that Summer is now the most annoying girl on the show. It’s true that I didn’t originally like Michelle (aka Jugs), but her quirky sense of humor and ability to laugh at herself has caused me to warm up to her.
On tonight’s episode, the three remaining couples piece together a map leading to gold by riding unruly horses and navigating cliffs and rough waters. Later, the challenge winners choose the next couple to go home.
To see which couples continue to find Love in the Wild, tune in to NBC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Love in the Wild @ Clicker.

Did you guys enjoy the premiere night for Trust Us With Your Life? I loved it just as much as I did the first time I watched it, although I had a lot of fun seeing it with my family the 2nd time. I love the Sideways skit. I hope we see that one again tonight. I have seen the first of tonight’s two episodes—the one with Mark Cuban—and it was my favorite of the three episodes I got to see. So I’m looking forward to it. I’m also looking forward to the 2nd episode because Jonathan Mangum said in our interview that he most enjoyed Ricky Gervais’s stories. 🙂
On tonight’s first episode, business magnate, investor on ABC’s Shark Tank, and NBA Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who has always been an outspoken individual, comes to the stage to tell a tale from his own life and watch as it is reenacted. Brad Sherwood & David Armand also appear.
Then on tonight’s second episode, comedian, actor, director, producer, musician, writer, and television awards host Ricky Gervais seems to have done it all, and tonight, he graces the stage to share stories from his life and endure the reenactment of those stories. Greg Proops & David Armand also appear.
Laugh along tonight on ABC at 9/8c & 9:30/8:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of Trust Us With Your Life @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, America’s Got Talent, HGTV Design Star, Rizzoli & Isles, Franklin & Bash, & Chopped.

I am amazed with this season of Hell’s Kitchen, but it’s not because of the superior cooking… It’s because of the utter stupidity and childish behaviour we keep seeing week after week. Where did they find these people? The taste tests were insanely bad, but watching the women do the punishment again was just painful. They just can’t get along. There is always drama. *sigh* Yet, I can’t turn away because it’s a delicious train wreck that I need to see—plus, I adore Chef Ramsay. Such an enigma.
On tonight’s episode, “8 Chefs Compete,” the teams create menus for dinner service, but the pressure proves too much for some chefs, provoking Chef Ramsay’s ire.
To see the childish insanity unfold, tune in to FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Hell’s Kitchen @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching MasterChef and Jane by Design.
