Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? I actually had a pretty good one. Caught up on some much-needed sleep on Sunday, thank goodness. Kicked my husband’s butt at cards earlier in the weekend. And I was kid free because my son was visiting my mom out of town. So…yeah. Pretty good. 😉 lol Megan wanted to recommend Bunheads & Teen Wolf, but she went out of town to a wedding and didn’t get home until so late that she was too tired to write up her part. So besides those two shows, check out what Kyle & I think you should be watching.
I’ve been looking forward to the season premiere of Warehouse 13…well, since last season’s finale. Last season was SO shocking. First, Steve died, then H.G. died, the warehouse blew up, and Mrs. Frederic died. Gah! At the time, I thought, “How in the world are they going to come back from that?” Fortunately, I’ve already seen the premiere, and believe me, it’s well worth the wait. The tension from last season’s finale is still there, and there’s an urgency during the episode that makes you scared they won’t figure out how to bring the warehouse back (because…obviously, they HAVE to bring it back). Check back on the site later for my one-on-one call with star Eddie McClintock as well as the press call with Eddie & co-star Saul Rubinek. They talk about a lot of the stuff coming up this season and how the finale affected the premiere & the season as a whole
On tonight’s episode, “A New Hope,” in the wake of the tragic event responsible for the loss of Agent Jinks, H.G. Wells, & Mrs. Frederic as well as the destruction of the warehouse, the team attempts to repair the situation by racing to the other side of the globe in a frantic search for an obscure and dangerous artifact.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, Perception, & the 2-hour season finale of American Ninja Warrior.

Tonight, Alphas returns to Syfy for its second season. Last season, Red Flag, a rogue group of Alphas under the leadership of Stanton Parish, declared war on the Department of Defense. During this battle, many Alphas were killed, including Gary’s friend, Anna. Dr. Rosen felt the best way to put an end to the fighting was to go public with the Alphas program. So he arranged for his deposition to be broadcast live across the internet, revealing to the world the existence of Alphas.
I can’t wait to see how this all plays out. Now that the Alphas are no longer a secret, will more of them come out of the woodwork? And what will be public’s reaction be to the news? The government can’t be happy with this turn of events—will they try to deny it, or will they try to discredit Dr. Rosen? How will all of this affect our group of Alphas and the Red Flag faction? So many questions! 🙂
In tonight’s premiere, “Wake Up Call,” when two of their own team are taken hostage, the team must come back together to save their lives.
At Comic-Con, I was fortunate to participate in some Q&A round tables with some of the cast and producers of Alphas and got some hints on the new season. Check out my video from the Syfy press-room at Comic-Con.
