If We Controlled Your Remote… 9/4/12

You have to love a Tuesday that’s a Monday… Ok, you don’t really. lol But luckily, that means for most of us, it’s a short week, and there’s plenty on TV tonight to take your mind off the fact that it’s a Tuesday-Monday. 😉 So check out what we think you can’t miss tonight.

As much as Covert Affairs is pissing me off right now, I still can’t help but recommend it because I have GOT to have faith that it will all work out. I HATE the Annie/Simon relationship. I HATE Lena because she’s made Annie into almost a rogue agent…and someone I’m having a hard time respecting or liking at the moment. I have a feeling it’s all going to bite her in the ass at some point, and I almost want to say I hope it does. She needs a wake up call, and soon. Then we have the growing tension between Joan and Arthur, poor Auggie has been relegated to nothing but a character dealing with relationship issues and the fallout from that. I want the strong, confident Auggie that had Annie’s back and was a central part of every episode. 🙁 Still, I have a feeling the next couple of episodes are going to be GOOOOOD, so I’m crossing my fingers!

On tonight’s episode, “Glass Spider,” after it’s discovered that Jai was investigating Simon Fischer when he was killed, bringing Simon in becomes Arthur’s top priority. In the hopes of protecting Simon, Annie requests that she be allowed to bring him in herself. Sarah Clarke and Richard Coyle guest star.

We’re getting down to the wire on Hell’s Kitchen, and I am anxious to find out who is in the final 2! I am hoping for an all-girl finale because it’s about time that a girl kicked some ass on the show. I was happy that Barbie finally went home because I have never liked her—I can’t help it. She’s incredibly annoying. Christina against Dana in the finale would be fabulous, seeing the best friends pitted against each other down to the wire. My money and hope is on Christina—Dana also annoys me. What can I say? I find a lot of women annoying.

On tonight’s episode, “Season Finale Part 1,” the two remaining chefs must build their final dinner service menu, and Chef Ramsay brings in a team of world renowned chefs to judge their creations.

To see if it’s going to be a female-dominated finale, tune in to FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Hell’s Kitchen @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’m also going to be watching MasterChef.

I tend to shy away from most of the trashy reality shows chronicling the lives of “real” people that flood TLC, Bravo, and Lifetime. However, one of my guilty pleasures is Bravo’s Flipping Out, which returns tonight for its sixth season! From the trailer, it looks like we are in for another season of insanity with Jeff Lewis and his gang. Jenni is getting married, and of course, Jeff will find some way to make her big day all about him. Plus, it looks like Jeff threatens to fire Zoila (but not in his usual joking way), tries to adopt a baby, causes an assistant to quit, and flips out at just about everyone. I find this show so hilarious—probably because I’m only watching the insane antics of Jeff Lewis and don’t actually have to deal with him!

In tonight’s episode, “A House Divided,” tension rises between Jeff and Gage over the revamping of their dream home. The drama escalates when Jeff buys a new house without consulting Gage. Elsewhere, Jenni throws an engagement party to introduce her fiancé.

Check it out tonight on Bravo at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Flipping Out @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, Chopped, Coma, White Collar, Covert Affairs, Face Off, and Collection Intervention.
