If We Controlled Your Remote… 9/14/12

Yesterday, I got the itch to change things up and got my hair cut shorter again and dyed it blue/black—I’m loving it. Sometimes, a little change is all we need to give us a pick me up—and that’s what today is, as well! It’s the first time in a while there has been decent Friday television for me to suggest, so let’s get to it.

Megan’s Choice

Tonight is a new, previously-unaired, episode of Touch, and I am looking forward to it. This show captured the hearts and minds of so many people when it debuted last spring. I love the relationship between Martin (Kiefer Sutherland) and his son Jake—it’s a complicated but moving connection. Jake is a special boy, and his ability to deal with numbers has helped save many people. I’m really curious where they are going to go with this and exactly when we’re going to figure everything out about Jake.

On tonight’s episode, “The Road Not Taken,” after Martin’s car breaks down in the place where he got his first job as a reporter, he risks losing an old friend when he suspects that his mentor is part of something illegal.

To see what tangled webs Martin runs into, tune in to FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Touch @ Clicker.

JJ’s Choice

Ok, guys, I have to admit, I’ve already seen this episode, but I am going to catch it again. I love Lost Girl because of the characters and the mythology. Because we never learn a lot more than Bo, it feels like there is so much to learn. The threat of the Garuda has been building over the season, and last week, the Dark and Light Fae decided to join forces through Bo’s blood. And Dyson was finally freed from the Norn’s spell, so hopefully he and Bo can finally be together.

Tonight on the season finale, “Flesh and Blood,” Bo binds the Fae, and they confront the Garuda.

Find out how the fight goes and if Trick’s vision will come true on Syfy at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Lost Girl @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching America’s Next Top Model.
