I love the fall temperatures we’ve been having here. It’s such a nice change from the hot, sweaty temperatures from just a few weeks ago. Fall means changing leaves, shorter days, and of course, new TV, so let’s take a look.
Tonight is the series premiere of The Mob Doctor with Jordan Spiro as Dr. Grace Devlin. Grace has to decide where her loyalties lie throughout this series and when it’s ok for her to bend the rules. She’s operating with a no-holds barred kind of attitude one moment, and the next, she’s treating gangsters in abandoned garages—it’s a tough life, but Grace is fierce. I have seen the pilot of this show, and I am telling you, you do NOT want to miss it!
On tonight’s series premiere, “Pilot,” a surgeon is beholden to the Chicago Mafia when she pays off her brother’s gambling debts in this drama, which begins with a dangerous dilemma for Dr. Grace Devlin after a crime boss orders her to kill a patient, who happens to have mob ties.
To see how her morals steer her, tune in to FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Mob Boss @ Clicker.

It’s here, it’s here! Tonight is the season premiere of Bones. Last season ended with Pelant framing Bones with the murder of an old friend of hers, so after seeing their daughter Christine’s christening, and then to Booth’s complete & utter shock, Bones fled with Christine, leaving Booth sitting on the church steps, head in his hands. We learned over the summer that the new season will pick up three months after that day, and Bones will have been on the run the entire time.
I’ve seen tonight’s premiere, and from the emotional beginning to the shocking end, it’s a terrific forty minutes. The entire gang is in fine form, and there are some shockers throughout the whole episode. This is one of the two shows I’ve most looked forward to since last May (the other, of course, being Castle), and I was beyond thrilled when it didn’t disappoint in the slightest.
On tonight’s episode, “The Future in the Past,” having been accused of murder, Brennan is on the run from the FBI, with help from her father Max. Booth and the Jeffersonian team are convinced evil tech genius Christopher Pelant has manipulated key evidence in the case to pinpoint Brennan as the prime suspect. Then, an anonymous tip leads the team to the remains of a high school guidance counselor that may hold the key to proving Brennan’s innocence.
Don’t miss all the excitement tonight on FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bones @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Mob Doctor, Warehouse 13, & Revolution.
Tonight, NBC kicks off one of my favorite new shows this season, Revolution. After a mysterious world-wide blackout, society must rebuild itself and learn to adapt without power of any kind. Without an organized government, communities have fallen under the rule of local militias, which are at odds with one another. Who or what caused this blackout? Was it done on purpose? Does someone know how to turn the power back on?
The series is produced by TV greats, J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke, so I have really high hopes. I love this type of action/adventure series with an underlying mystery or mythology. I just hope this one sticks around long enough to give some resolution and doesn’t fall prey to poor scheduling, like Flash Forward and The Event did.
In tonight’s episode, “Pilot,” the postapocalyptic series begins with Charlie and several others trekking from their pastoral home to Chicago in search of her uncle Miles, whom she hopes will help her rescue her brother Danny, who’s been taken by a militia. Along the way, she makes the acquaintance of an archer named Nate, who helps her crew out of a jam. Danny, meanwhile, struggles to free himself from the clutches of the militia.
Go along with the adventure tonight on NBC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Revolution @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording The Voice, Bones, The Mob Doctor, Switched at Birth, Major Crimes, Perception, Alphas, Warehouse 13, and The Inbetweeners.
This season, Warehouse 13 has been on a roll. The cases-of-the-week have been compelling, and with everything getting lost in and around the Warehouse, I feel that the writers have found a nice balance in storytelling. Last week, we saw the return of HG and introduced a potential new Warehouse agent or Regent. I’m really looking forward to the rest of the season.
Tonight, on “Second Chance,” Pete and Myka track down an artifact that causes people to rust to death, and Steve and Claudia search for a way to cut Steve from the metronome.
Watch the adventure tonight on Syfy at 9/8c.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching Alphas and The Voice. Learn where to find episodes online of Warehouse 13 @ Clicker.
