Today is an exciting day in my house—for my kid, at least. Today is their first “uniform” day for NJROTC, which means he got to wear his new shirt, pants, shoes, belt (with the shiny brass buckle!), and hat to school. LOL As for me, I’m excited because it’s another great night of TV. You know we all have an opinion on what we think is worth watching, (mine’s best. 😉 just sayin’… *grin*), so check it out now!

Last week’s premiere of The New Normal stole my heart from the very first second. How heartwarming and adorable was Bryan as he recorded the video message to their baby? Seriously, the way his eyes reddened and teared up made me want to cry with him. I watched that part like three times. I loved the introduction we got to all the characters. Then in the second episode, the show kept me hooked. I laughed, wanted to cry, and just thoroughly loved every minute of it. It was so much…more than I’d anticipated. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it, but I did. Even more than that, I loved it. I have a feeling that if it sticks around, it’ll be one of my favorite new comedies in a long time.
On tonight’s episode, “Do You Have That in Size Newborn?” Bryan ignores David’s advice and goes overboard buying baby clothes. When they try to return them, they are met with a challenge. Elsewhere, Shania wears one of the baby outfits to school and makes a new friend, which lands Goldie in an awkward parent-teacher moment.
Please don’t miss the chance to fall in love with this show like I did. Watch it tonight on NBC at 9:30/8:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of The New Normal @ Clicker.

Go On is, in my opinion, one of the best new comedies of the season—I am loving Matthew Perry in this role, and the whole idea behind the show is awesome. Grief is a terrible thing, but there is humor behind the process, there is humor to help us through—and this show does it so well. Last episode, we watched Ryan struggle with coming home to an empty house, and in turn, he monopolized his assistant’s life. We also saw Ryan give out very unhelpful advice, which led to one of the group’s members becoming a crazy cat lady again, and Ryan realizing he doesn’t really know everything.
On tonight’s episode, “There’s No ‘Ryan’ in Team,” Ryan learns to appreciate the support group more and not separate it from the rest of his life. Meanwhile, Steven makes an awkward attempt to help Ryan overcome his loss.
To see how Ryan learns to include the group antics in his life, tune in to NBC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Go On @ Clicker.

Tonight, Syfy adds another great competition reality series to its schedule. Hot Set comes from the producers of Face Off and pits production designers against one another. Each week, two new production designers and their teams are given a theme, script pages, and some other requirements from the judges. Then they have three days and a set budget to build their sets and work with an actor and director to film the scene. The judges review the scenes and check out the sets up close and determine the winner.
The series gives the viewer a glimpse into all the things that need to get done to turn a few words on a script into a fully-realized scene. It’s amazing what these contestants can create—I wouldn’t even know where to begin! What Face Off does for makeup effects, Hot Set does for production design. However, the only aspect of Face Off that I wish we got here was having a larger group of contestants that we follow and get to know each week. However, the huge scope and space requirements of the task the contestants must complete doesn’t really lend itself to that format. I really enjoyed the series premiere and look forward to seeing more competitions.
In tonight’s episode, “Crash Landed Astronaut,” teams must create a set for an astronaut on an alien planet in the series premiere.
See how amazing and creative the contestants can be tonight on Syfy at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Hot Set @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording The Voice, Go On, The New Normal, Parenthood, Flipping Out, Chopped, White Collar, Covert Affairs, Face Off, Sons of Anarchy, & Abby & Brittany.

This is it, guys. We’ve finally arrived at the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance. My preference for the winners are Chehon and Eliana, but we’ll find out tonight. Eliana was spectacular last week, and I still haven’t gotten over the fact that Cyrus is still in the competition. Sometimes, it’s frustrating that you can’t vote from abroad.
Find out which guy and which girl leave with the money in the 2-hour season finale on Fox at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of So You Think You Can Dance @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching The Voice, The New Normal, and Go On.
