I am so incredibly excited that Hawaii Five-0 is back tonight—for many, many reasons! Of course, there’s the fact that Alex O’Loughlin is my boyfriend, but besides that…this show left us with a crazy cliffhanger. When we left the show, Chin Ho had the choice between saving his wife or saving his cousin, Kono—and after choosing his wife Malia, he realizes he’s screwed regardless, and Kono is dumped into the ocean. Will she live? Will his wife survive her gunshot wound? Who knows, but what we did find out was that Steve’s mother isn’t actually dead and that was a shock that I can’t wait to have explained. [Note from Jenny: It’s a CRAZY episode, and you won’t want to miss a moment! Seriously!]

On tonight’s premiere, “La O Na Makuahine (Mother’s Day),” McGarrett is dealing with the realization that his mother is back from the dead. Meanwhile, Five-0 hunts for Wo Fat to avenge the death of a team family member.

To see who survives, tune in to CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Hawaii Five-0 @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Bones, 2 Broke Girls, Revolution, Partners, The Voice, The Mob Doctor, and Mike & Molly.

Tonight, How I Met Your Mother returns for the start of its eighth season! In last season’s finale, we finally got confirmation that Barney’s bride-to-be is, in fact, Robin. And in a more surprising turn of events, Victoria returned, leaving her husband-to-be at the alter to ride off into the sunset with Ted.

With Victoria back in the picture for Ted, does this mean the mystery mom’s identity will remain a mystery for a while longer? I really hope this gets revealed soon, as they have been dragging this along for way too long. Also, Barney is currently engaged to Quinn, so something’s got to happen there so he and Robin can get back together. I’m looking forward to another new season of laughs.

In tonight’s episode, “Farhampton,” it’s Barney and Robin’s wedding day, but concerns that one or both of them will get cold feet cloud the happy time. Meanwhile, all the matrimonial jitters trigger Ted’s memories of Victoria’s wedding day and how he insisted that she leave her fiancé a note after deciding to leave him at the altar.

See the premiere tonight on CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of How I Met Your Mother @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording 2 Broke Girls, Castle, The Voice, Revolution, Bones, The Mob Doctor, Switched at Birth, Major Crimes, Alphas, Warehouse 13, and The Inbetweeners.

Mike & Molly has always been the little pearl for the Monday CBS comedy line up. It doesn’t crack me up as much as some other comedies do, but the show feels like it has a lot of heart. And I absolutely love Melissa McCarthy and Swoosie Kurtz, so seeing them in the same show is awesome. Last season saw Mike and Molly preparing for their wedding, and in the season finale, they tied the knot.

On tonight’s episode, “The Honeymoon is Over,” Mike and Molly return from Paris. Mike wants to change his life and travel the world, while Molly worries how their friends and family managed without them.

See how this plays out on CBS on 9:30/8:30. Learn where to find episodes online of Mike & Molly @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching Alphas, How I Met Your Mother, The Voice, Partners, 2 Broke Girls, Warehouse 13, and CASTLE!!!!!

I’m SO excited because tonight is the start of a ton of shows for the new fall season—and that includes my favorite show from last season, Castle. Last season was crazy. It ended with Ryan & Espisito on the outs, Espisito on administrative leave, Beckett resigned from the force, Alexis graduating high school, the man who almost killed Beckett having found Mr. Smith and threatening Beckett, Castle believing that he and Beckett were done for good and deleting all of his files on Joanna Beckett’s murder…and finally—FINALLY!—Beckett realizing that she loved Castle and showing up, looking like a drowned rat, and professing her love for Castle. They kissed and, just before the episode ended, walked off to the bedroom, hand in hand.

I have seen the season premiere, and to me, it lives up to the expectations of last season’s finale. As a shipper, I’m beyond happy, and as fan of the show from the very first episode, I’m just as thrilled. I can’t wait for you guys to watch it and see what you think!

On tonight’s episode, “After the Storm,” after four seasons of “will they” or “won’t they,” Richard Castle and Kate Beckett finally gave in to their feelings for each other in the much anticipated Season 4 finale. Season 5 picks up on the proverbial morning after, with Castle and Beckett facing new questions: Was this a one-time fling, or are they now a couple? But before they find the answers, they must take on the forces responsible for Beckett’s mother’s murder that now threaten Kate Beckett’s life.

Don’t miss it tonight on ABC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Castle @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing How I Met Your Mother, Dancing with the Stars, Bones, Partners, Mike & Molly, 2 Broke Girls, Hawaii Five-0, Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, The Mob Doctor, Warehouse 13, & Revolution.

By the way… One of the most fun “extras” for Castle is the fact that the lead male character is an author, and the show has…kind of followed his career. Richard Castle’s “Heat” books, which are based on Jameson Rook and Nikki Heat (who, on the show, was inspired by Kate Beckett). If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll enjoy the books. Whoever is writing them does well at capturing the sexual tension (as well as the annoyance factor…) between the leads, Rook & Heat, and with the latest book, Frozen Heat, it’s really tied in to some of the current story line of the show. Here’s the blurb:

“NYPD Homicide Detective Nikki Heat arrives at her latest crime scene to find an unidentified woman stabbed to death and stuffed inside a suitcase left on a Manhattan street. Nikki is in for a big shock when this new homicide connects to the unsolved murder of her own mother. Paired once again with her romantic and investigative partner, top journalist Jameson Rook, Heat works to solve the mystery of the body in the suitcase while she is forced to confront unexplored areas of her mother’s background. Facing relentless danger as someone targets her for the next kill, Nikki’s search will unearth painful family truths, expose a startling hidden life, and cause Nikki to reexamine her own past. Heat’s passionate quest takes her and Rook from the back alleys of Manhattan to the avenues of Paris, trying to catch a ruthless killer. The question is, now that her mother’s cold case has unexpectedly thawed, will Nikki Heat finally be able to solve the dark mystery that has been her demon for ten years?”

The book is on sale now at Amazon & other stores. I highly recommend it, although if you haven’t read the first three, I’d start there first! 🙂 Frozen Heat by Richard Castle in hardcover & Frozen Heat by Richard Castle on Kindle
