Here in Canada, we’re celebrating a long weekend for Thanksgiving, so I plan on staying up late to catch up on all the shows I have saved up on my DVR, but that’s not until I take in some new TV tonight. It’s been a busy couple of weeks for television, and this week is shaping up to be just as busy. Let’s see what you should be watching.

I can’t help but get sucked into The Amazing Race every single season, and this season is definitely no exception. Last week’s season premiere had me interested from the first second, although when they did the eating challenge where they ate the fallopian tubes—I may have turned away a time or two to avoid the nausea. I already don’t like Abbie & Ryan because they will never hesitate to step on another team, and while I understand it was for the $2 million, it still seemed a bit sketchy to me.
On tonight’s episode, “Long Hair, Don’t Care,” the race continues in Surabaya, Indonesia, where one team makes a bold move, but it could cost them the game, while another Racer breaks down amid the frustration of a roadblock.
Remember to adjust your DVRs because of the ridiculous sport they call football. To see how the racers manage this leg of the race, tune in to CBS at 8:30/7:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Amazing Race @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Once Upon a Time, The Mentalist, 666 Park Avenue, Breaking Amish, Iron Chef America, Homeland, and America’s Funniest Home Videos.

One of my favorite “specials” last season at this time was Halloween Wars on Food Network. The short series combines cake decorators, candy makers, & pumpkin carvers, and each week, the teams are given a theme. Just like on Cupcake Wars, they do several challenges per episode, with a team being voted out by the judges after each round. It is AMAZING how crazy amazing their creations can get. They boggle my mind each and every week. I recognize some of the contestants, and some of the guest judges, so I am quite excited for this season.
On tonight’s episode, “Evil Clowns,” in the first of four battles, five teams made up of a pumpkin carving expert, cake artist, and candy craftsman must combine their arts to create the most terrifying clown imaginable. At the end of the battle, one team will be eliminated.
See how insane and fantastic the clowns can get tonight on Food Network at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Halloween Wars @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing America’s Funniest Home Videos, Cupcake Wars, The Amazing Race, Iron Chef America, The Mentalist, & Copper.

I am so excited for tonight’s episode of Dexter. Last week, Dexter convinced Deb to help him cover up his murder of Travis Marshall, but the way he wrapped the body in plastic reminded her too much of her own abduction by the Ice Truck Killer, and her suspicions grew. Dexter sensed this and prepared to flee the country. Meanwhile, LaGuerta found a blood slide at the crime scene—a trademark of the Bay Harbor Butcher. She had never believed that Sgt. Doakes was the Butcher, and now she might be able to prove it. At the end of the episode, Dexter arrived home to find Deb with his kill tools and blood slides, and she flat-out asked him, “Are you a serial killer?” He admitted it.
I can’t wait to see what happens next! What will Deb do now that she knows the truth? Will LaGuerta re-open the Bay Harbor Butcher case, and will she suspect Dexter? What does Masuka’s intern Louis have against Dexter? Why is he messing with his credit cards, and is he close to discovering the truth, as well? How will Ukranian mob’s presence in Miami factor into all of this? So many questions! 🙂
In tonight’s episode, “Sunshine and Frosty Swirl,” Miami Metro reopens a 15-year-old case based on new evidence provided by a local convict; and Debra works to cure Dexter of his homicidal urges. Meanwhile, the Mike Anderson case appears to have ties to Ukrainian mobsters.
Don’t miss the drama tonight on Showtime at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Dexter @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording Once Upon a Time, Revenge, 666 Park Avenue, The Cleveland Show, The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, American Dad, Call the Midwife, and Homeland.

Last week was the return of Revenge, and I was really happy to find it on my screen! The flash forward was less intricate than last year’s, but the premiere was exciting nonetheless. Victoria is still alive, Conrad is messing with both Daniel and Charlotte, Emily is focusing on finding her mother, and Amanda and Jack were adjusting to the idea of raising a kid together.
On tonight’s episode, “Resurrection,” Emily tries to get back in with the Graysons, but a very pregnant Amanda isn’t making it easy on her.
See how Emily will manage on ABC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Revenge @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching Once Upon A Time.
It looks like we would all get along really well, since we seem to have the same taste in TV! I am definitely looking forward to a bunch of these shows tonight, especially Dexter and The Amazing Race! I just can’t believe how many of them are airing tonight. How are you guys planning on keeping up? I have my Hopper DVR on my side, which records up to six things, so I won’t have to make any tough choices between shows. My only problem is finding the time to watch them all. It sounds like I have a late night ahead of me, so I better bring a ton of coffee with me to my office at DISH tomorrow! It’s better to have too many great shows on than too few, right?!
I knew Dish Network was already pretty crappy before, but now they are desperate! Their customers must be leaving in droves because of Dish’s dispute with AMC. I guess they think its alright to hijack someones tv blog and steal advertising that everyone else has to pay for. I feel sorry for you Geiselle that things are so tough for you out in the job market that you had to get a job as a bottom-feeding thieving leech! This is the 3rd tv site that I visit regularly that a thieving leech has been stealing advertising from. I know that I will NEVER use Dish network EVER AGAIN because of these sorry and repulsive business practices that they continue to engage in! So go ahead and keep it up Dish and you’ll be out of business completely in 2 years!
P.S. : You would think that Dish would try to hide their thievery a little more with different stories. All 3 of the thieves posted the same spam ads about working at Dish.
