If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/26/12

I am moved into my new house, and while I’m exhausted and I have yet to finish unpacking…the word content comes to mind. I’m opening a new and slightly daunting chapter, so a night of great new television sounds like heaven. Let’s see what you should be watching.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love Hawaii Five-0 and the sexy cast? Okay, I have…but I am going to again. Last week’s episode was intense, and I have such a girl crush on Kono! She is smart, beautiful, and most of all, fierce. On the other hand, there are few in the male species that can hold a candle to the sexy wonder that is Alex O’Loughlin. When he helped his sister connect with their mom, I loved the moment of sweet brotherly love that was witnessed. This show gets better and better, and I’m a fan.

On tonight’s episode, “Wahine’inoloa,” McGarrett thinks a smart, seductive therapist (Vanessa Marcil) murdered one of her patients; one of Doris’s former targets seeks revenge.

To see how the team wins this week, tune into CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Hawaii Five-0 @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Bones, The Voice, 2 Broke Girls, and The Mob Doctor.

I’ve been looking forward to tonight’s Bones episode because we get to see another side to Booth. He always seems so serious, so we rarely get to see the fun, laughing, joking side of him. Last week’s episode was quite revealing and definitely fun, though. Watching Brennan go up against the crime scene clean-up guy was something to behold. She was not going to let it go, and she eventually proved that he had indeed killed the victim. Of course, then there was the big reveal that Cam’s new boyfriend is none other than intern Aristoo Vaziri. Did ANYONE see that coming? Kind of out of left field, wasn’t it? I don’t hate the idea or anything. Just seems so out of the blue. lol

On tonight’s episode, “The But in the Joke,” a street artist, who is covertly plastering his art on a billboard, falls and lands directly into his own glue – and into human remains. So the team must not only figure out the identity of the remains, but must also find a strategic way to remove the part of the corpse that is still glued to the street artist. Meanwhile, Booth tries his hand at a comedy club’s “open mic” night in order to seek out potential suspects and Angela’s love of art leads her to become attracted to the street artist.

See how Angela deals with her feelings tonight on FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bones @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Dancing with the Stars, How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Next Great Baker, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Mob Doctor, Mike & Molly, Hawaii Five-0, & Pawn Star$.

Tonight is the mid-season finale of Revolution. In last week’s episode, Miles and Nora convinced the rebels to help them infiltrate Monroe’s base at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, but first they had to convince them that Miles was no longer working for Monroe. While walking through the tunnels, the lack of oxygen caused the gang to hallucinate and have a tough time distinguishing between what was real and what was just a dream. Meanwhile, Monroe was forcing Rachel to build an amplifier for the pendants to help boost their signal, but Neville suspected she was really building a bomb. So Monroe brought in Dr. Jaffe and told Rachel he didn’t need her anymore. However, she grabbed a screwdriver and stabbed Jaffe in the heart, killing him, and told Monroe, “now you need me.”

I loved that ending of last week’s episode and the boldness of Rachel. This is the kind of character I love seeing Elizabeth Mitchell playing—it’s like we are getting Juliette from Lost back again! I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of cliffhanger they leave us with tonight—though it’s going to be a long, almost 4-month wait for new episodes!

On tonight’s episode, “Nobody’s Fault but Mine,” the quest to rescue Danny means that Miles must meet with Monroe. In other events, a discovery shocks Charlie; and Rachel tests Monroe’s patience.

See all the action tonight on NBC at 10:01/9:01c. Learn where to find episodes online of Revolution @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Bones, and The Mob Doctor.
