If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/29/12

I hope that everyone (or at least the US folks) had a good holiday last week and that your wallets have survived Black Friday/Cyber Monday. It frightens me when I think that Christmas is just over three weeks away and I still have lots of gifts to buy! However, in TV-land you wouldn’t know it, as we haven’t hit that holiday lull just yet—tonight’s TV lineup is still quite packed. Read on to see what we recommend you check out tonight.

The Office was closed last week for Thanksgiving, but tonight, it’s back for a new episode. Last time, the Yellow Pages were looking for a new paper supplier, and when the folks at Dunder Mifflin learned that the client was a woman, the females in the office banded to help Dwight learn to better deal with the fairer sex. However, when Dwight arrived at the meeting, he discovered it was all a ruse by Jan, who was trying to get back at David Wallace. Meanwhile, Angela suspected the senator was cheating on her; and Jim’s business partners found it difficult to work around his remote participation.

I’m surprised at how much I’ve been enjoying this final season of The Office. I like that they are finding ways to bring back old characters so we can see them one last time. Also, the whole storyline of Angela taking Oscar with her to find the “other woman,” only to discover “she” is actually Oscar, was great. I can’t wait to see how that all plays out tonight. Also, it seems like Jim is going to have to make a decision soon and leave Dunder Mifflin or else his partners are going to kick him out of his side venture.

On tonight’s episode, “The Target,” Angela discovers the harsh truth about her husband’s affair with Oscar, so she reaches out to Dwight for help. Meanwhile, Jim requests a favor from Stanley and Phyllis; Pam begins painting a mural in the warehouse; and Pete creates a tower made out of complaint cards.

I’m so happy The Big Bang Theory is back. Last week wasn’t new because of Thanksgiving, but the week before that, it was a great ep, as usual. The best part by far was Raj and Howard trying to figure out where Sheldon disappeared to every day at 2:45. When they finally figured it out, Sheldon decided to get back at them for spying, and he set up a prank that made them think he had found a portal to another universe and was being attacked by an alien. Then he scared them while they were watching what they thought was a live feed but turned out to be a recording. It was fantastic. 😀

On tonight’s episode, “The Parking Spot Escalation,” when the university reassigns Sheldon’s parking spot to Wolowitz, their fight affects the whole gang.

Laugh along with me tonight on CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Big Bang Theory @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Up All Night, Two and a Half Men, Beauty and the Beast, Person of Interest, Burn Notice, & Elementary.

Grey’s Anatomy frustrates me at times because I’m getting a little tired of this plane crash. I get that everyone is changed, but do we have to watch them sue for damages? Now their lawyers are suggesting they sue the hospital itself for their accident, which in itself is silly. I am happy about Christina being back at Seattle Grace, and hopefully, this means that she and Owen can work things out. The couple I am the most behind this season so far is April and Avery—I have always wanted them together, and he just admitted it wasn’t just a fling to him. Let’s hope that soon we move past the crash itself and focus on other issues.

On tonight’s episode, “I Was Made for Lovin’ You,” Cristina and Owen consider where they stand with one another; wedding planning results in an argument between Bailey and Ben.

To see how the relationship roulette plays out for our favorite characters, tune into ABC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Grey’s Anatomy @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching The Big Bang Theory, Last Resort, Person of Interest, Glee, and The X Factor.
