Welcome back, everyone! We hope everyone had a great couple of weeks and enjoyed the holidays. Did you get caught up on all the shows crowding your DVR? We did. Something like eight episodes of Person of Interest and six of Elementary in addition to odds and ends…we cut it down to only 35 recordings. Woohoo. *laugh* Of course, this week starts back with a lot of new TV, which means it’ll fill again pretty quickly. But that’s okay…it just means we’ll have plenty to watch! So check out what we all think you should be watching or recording to fill up your time tonight. 🙂

Two of my favorite people to watch on the Food Network (& in her case, on her show on ABC) are Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri. I know RR annoys some people, but I love her. 😀 Last season, Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off was incredibly fun to watch. I couldn’t decide who to root for most of the time, but I loved that Lou Diamond Phillips won, and Coolio shocked the heck out of me with how good he was. This season will hopefully be just as much fun, and there are definitely some characters this time around! Chilli (from the group TLC), Cornelia Guest, Dean McDermott, and figure skater Johnny Weir are Team Guy, and Carnie Wilson, Hines Ward, Kathy Najimy, and Gilbert Gottfried are Team Rachael.
On tonight’s premiere, “The Show Must Go On,” the teams must cook a prix fixe menu for a dinner theater and perform a skit for the patrons. (A prix fixe menu is simply a collection of pre-determined items presented as a multi course meal at a set price.)
Don’t miss the competition tonight on Food Network at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off @ Clicker.

It has only been a few weeks since Once Upon a Time has graced our television screens with its story telling genius, but it has felt like forever. I’m more than ready for tonight’s premiere. Will good win over evil? Will Henry finally end up where he belongs—in the arms of Emma—or will the evil queen destroy things again? One never knows on this show. It’s always blowing the boundaries of fairytales from what we are so used to.
On tonight’s episode, “The Cricket Game,” Regina is accused of murdering a beloved fairytale character, but Emma actually thinks she’s innocent. Snow White and Prince Charming plan the Evil Queen’s execution.
To see if Regina gets to keep her head, tune into ABC at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Once Upon a Time @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching The Mentalist and Rachel vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off.

Tonight, the third season of the hit UK drama Downton Abbey finally comes to America. When we last left Downton, Sybil announced she was pregnant, Matthew finally proposed to Lady Mary, Mr. Bates was convicted of murdering his ex wife, and Thomas was scheming to become the new valet.
I’m looking forward to seeing where this entertaining, soapy drama goes next. Will Mr. Bates be able to contest his life imprisonment and prove his innocence?! Will Matthew and Mary finally get married?! Will the conniving Thomas and O’Brien ever get their comeuppance?! It should be another great season—I can’t wait to see Cora’s mother (played by Shirley MacLaine) give the Dowager countess a run for her money. Hopefully you’ve been able to avoid all the spoilers that have been running rampant across the internet—and hopefully, next season, PBS will actually air this series at the same time as the UK (like BBC America does with Doctor Who)!
On tonight’s premiere, the family and staff preparing for Mary and Matthew’s wedding; and Cora’s mother (Shirley MacLaine) arriving from the U.S. Robert, meanwhile, receives bad news about an investment; O’Brien arranges for her nephew to become the new footman; and Anna vows to prove John’s innocence.
Note: Before tonight’s episode, PBS is re-airing the one hour special, “Secrets of Highclere Castle,” which talks about the history of the castle that serves as Downton Abbey for the series.
See all the drama tonight on PBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Downton Abbey @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording The Good Wife, The Mentalist, Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Happy Endings, Don’t Trust the B— in Apt 23, The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, Chopped, & Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off.

Starting tonight both Don’t Trust the B— in Apt 23 and Happy Endings will air double episodes weekly, taking over the 666 Park Avenue time-slot. I don’t now how this will work, because it seems so sudden and like these are two comedies that probably aren’t that compatible with Once Upon a Time and Revenge.
On tonight’s episode of Apt 23, “Paris,” June is nervous and excited about starting at Harken Financial, but things go well. She even meets a nice co-worker, but Chloe warns June that she shouldn’t be too trusting. Meanwhile, Mark looks to James to express his newfound feelings for June.
Find out what advice James gives on ABC at 10:30/9:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Amazing Race @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching Once Upon a Time, Revenge, and Happy Endings.

Everyone knows I’m a fan of cop shows, and that extends to movies & TV movies, as well. An Amish Murder is probably something I’d have skipped, but I like the cast, and in an interview with lead Neve Campbell that I read on TVEquals.com, she said she is in talks to possibly turn it into a TV series. Well, if that’s the case, I decided I would give it a shot. Since you might not have heard of this one, I thought I’d highlight it for tonight for you.
Based on the book “Sworn to Silence” by Linda Castillo, An Amish Murder tells the story of a woman who grew up Amish and, after returning to her small hometown as its Chief of Police, must solve a string of horrible murders. The movie also stars Neve’s brother Christian Campbell (Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, The Street), Noam Jenkins (Rookie Blue) and C.Thomas Howell (Criminal Minds). The peaceful Amish farming community of Painter’s Mill, Ohio, is shattered when a series of brutal murders leaves the town with a sense of frailty and loss of innocence. Among the most affected by the tragedy was Kate Burkholder, a young girl who survived the terror and, as a result, left the Amish life behind. Fifteen years later, Kate returns to Painter’s Mill as its Chief of Police. Certain she’s come to terms with her past, Kate’s renewed life in her hometown is shattered when a murder investigation triggers deep-seated emotions from her childhood and exposes a dark secret that could destroy her.
To see if it is worth making it a TV show, check it out tonight on Lifetime at 9/8c.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Chopped, Iron Chef America, The Mentalist, & Happy Endings.
Once again, a “celebrity” reality show that takes liberties with what constitutes a celebrity–the husband of a celeb, a football player and a “socialite”?! Who are these people?! Plus “Chilli” from TLC?! Has she even done anything in the past 15 years?!
ROFLMAO Yeah, I haven’t watched yet. hah But the list made me laugh.
