There’s been a flurry of new and returning shows this week. While it’s great to finally get some new stuff to watch, I kinda miss that calm month’s break—I’m already struggling to keep up with the TiVo! Tonight, a bunch more shows return, and 1600 Penn officially premieres. So here’s what we think you should check out tonight…
When we last saw Grey’s Anatomy, Doctor Bailey was getting wedding day jitters, Callie performed Derek’s hand surgery with assistance from Jackson, and Owen and Christina made up after discovering the real reason for the divorce papers. At the end of the episode, Bailey and Richard were on their way to the wedding ceremony when they received a call that Adele was in the emergency room. They turned the car around and rushed to the ER, where Bailey started on Adele’s surgery (in her gown).
I have a feeling this wedding isn’t going to happen. I mean, Bailey obviously doesn’t want to get married—she didn’t even have the decency to give Ben a heads-up that she was going to be late (if she gets there at all)! It’s not like she couldn’t have made a call while they were driving back to the hospital to let Ben and everyone else waiting at the church know what was going on!
On tonight’s episode, “Things We Said Today,” Bailey’s wedding is in limbo while she focuses on saving Adele. Elsewhere, Cristina and Owen are indecisive about following through with their divorce; Arizona and Callie try to spice things up; and a group of injured bikers are brought to the hospital.
See if Bailey makes it down the aisle and if Cristina & Owen decide to STAY married tonight on ABC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Grey’s Anatomy @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording The Big Bang Theory, Elementary, Last Resort, 30 Rock, The Office, 1600 Penn, and Sweet Genius.

Person of Interest has been heating up, and right now, John is in a bad, bad place: he’s been arrested by the FBI, along with a handful of other men, in conjunction with their hunt for the Man in the Suit. And Carter has been tasked to interrogate the men and find out everything she can about each of them. She already put her job and her freedom on the line when she sneaked in to switch out the DNA tests. How will they get out of it this time??
On tonight’s episode, “Prisoner’s Dilemma,” while Carter engages in mental warfare with the FBI to help Reese evade Agent Donnelly’s narrowing focus, Reese crosses paths with foes both old and new. Meanwhile, Det. Fusco is forced to fly solo to help the team’s newest POI: supermodel Karolina Kurkova.
See if the group can get John out of prison tonight on CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Person of Interest @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, 1600 Penn, & Elementary.
Over the holidays, many discussions at family get togethers centered around The Big Bang Theory, mostly because when it was time to put comfy clothes on, I always threw my Sheldon T-shirt from Comic Con on. (It says “I cry because people are stupid. That makes me sad.”) 🙂 The common consensus was one of pure enjoyment for the show, with a few people stating from behind blank stares: “I don’t get it.” (No, Mom, I am not looking at you. 😉 ) Overall, I don’t see how anyone could have anything but love for this show, its amazingly well-written dialogue, and its talented cast. My favorite moment from before the holidays was when Sheldon was called into Human Resources for being inappropriate with his assistant—he didn’t know he was being inappropriate discussing menstrual cycles; he was just stating facts like Sheldon does. Such an amusing episode.
On tonight’s episode, “The Bakersfield Expedition,” as the guys don costumes and go on a road trip to a comic book convention; the girls try to interpret a comic book.
To see if the girls ever figure it out, tune into CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Big Bang Theory @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching Grey’s Anatomy, Person of Interest, Elementary, Scandal, and Last Resort.
Another year, another show ending. 30 Rock is starting its final run of episodes today, and it is the end of an era, especially when The Office also ends in May. Tonight is a star-studded episode, so it should start the final run off very nicely!
On tonight’s episode, “Game Over,” Jack forms an alliance with Devin Banks (Will Arnett) in an attempt to discredit Jacks teenage nemesis Kaylie Hooper (Chloe Grace Moretz). Meanwhile, Liz is exploring options to become a mother, while Tracy is trying to direct Olivia Spencer in his new movie.
Find out what she will try on NBC at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of 30 Rock @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men.
