If We Controlled Your Remote… 1/20/13

It’s the start of another new week, and I cannot believe that we’re halfway through January already. This week is going to be filled with lots of new episodes, as well as some amazing new show premieres, so let’s jump to it and see what we should be watching tonight.

Megan’s Choice

hawaiifiveo120smallYou know it’s going to be a good week when we get a special episode of Hawaii Five-0 on a Sunday night! When I found this out, I won’t lie… I was as giddy as a school girl. Seriously, a double dose of my television boyfriend is always a good thing. Alex O’Loughlin and the rest of the cast have been entertaining and enthralling this whole season so far. Last week’s episode broke TV boundaries when it allowed viewers to choose the ending to the episode. Were you happy with the outcome? Will this bring more interactive TV to the forefront, and what would happen if we were suddenly allowed to choose the ending to some of our favorite shows? Mind-bending questions. 🙂 At the end of it all, as long as I get to watch the Five-0 team kick some serious ass and look sexy doing it, I’m a happy TV blogger.

On tonight’s episode, “Olelo Ho’ Opa’ I Make,” when Chin is kidnapped and left in Halawa prison dressed as an inmate, he must escape before the other prisoners recognize him.

To see if he can escape before disaster strikes, tune into CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Hawaii Five-0 @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching Once Upon a Time and Rachael vs Guy: Celebrity Cookoff.

JJ’s Choice

houseoflies120smallLast week was the return of House of Lies, and it was very interesting. Marty and Jeannie apparantly didn’t have sex, Marty and Roscoe still aren’t on speaking terms, and the team will aid in building a casino. And seeing them trying to find out what the client wanted was hilarious.

On tonight’s episode, “When Dinosaurs Ruled The Planet,” Marty and the Pod head to Las Vegas to help an aging casino regain its luster. They are joined by Tamara (Nia Long), Galweather Stearn’s newest partner-level consultant and rival of Marty’s from business school. Clyde is seduced by the VIP bottle-service Las Vegas nightlife. His ties to club owners, the Dushkin Twins (Evan Hart & Taylor Hart), will prove to be valuable to Marty. Jeannie finds a passive-aggressive foe in Galweather Stearn’s interim CEO, Julianne (Bess Armstrong).

See the fun tonight on Showtime at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of House of Lies @ Clicker.

I’ll also be watching Once Upon a Time and Revenge.
