Well, it was a much, MUCH better weekend for my family than the last. We’re all well—no more strep throat or throwing up, thank goodness!—and the kiddo finally got to have his birthday “party” after having postponed it because he was sick earlier in the month. He had a friend over to play video games all afternoon, then they made their own pizzas and ice cream sundaes, and then played way late into the night before crashing. On the TV front, I caught up on a lot of great stuff in preparation for the new week. What about you? There’s some good stuff on tonight to help fill up my newly emptied (well, not EMPTY, but emptier!) DVR, so check out what I’ll be adding plus what we think you should be watching. 🙂

Again, I’m choosing two shows tonight because there’s no way I can choose between the two. *laugh* Last week’s double Bones episodes were great. I loved seeing Dmitry and all the other dancers plus Mary & Tyce from So You Think You Can Dance. Anytime Dmitry graces my screen, I’m happy. LOL But pair him up with Booth? I had to check myself for drool. And while neither Booth nor Bones could dance worth anything, the last bit was just perfectly sweet and romantic. Also, we saw the stuff with Angela coming to a head, like I knew it would. I loved Hodgins and Cam working together to come up with the best solution for all of them, while trying their hardest to make Angela happy. And then the second episode… That was fantastic. From the bugs falling out on Brennan’s face to the heartbreaking story of the ancient people, it kept me capitivated and intrigued.
This week’s episode will be exciting. We’ll see the return of the smartest bad guy the team has ever faced, and this time, he is turning his focus on Angela & Hodgins. We knew he had to come back… Here’s hoping he won’t screw with our team too badly!
On tonight’s episode, “The Corpse on the Canopy,” after Hodgins and Angela were drugged and woke up to a bloody corpse hanging in the canopy of their bed and flower petals around their son Michael’s crib, they are forced to believe that Pelant is back for revenge against Hodgins. Although Hodgins wants to go after Pelant directly, Booth knows it’s best to work within the system and not go against protocol. Meanwhile, as the Jeffersonian team investigates the corpse, they discover the victim was a Special Forces agent working for the world’s biggest supplier of mercenaries, and Angela and Hodgins decide to start an investigation without the rest of the Jeffersonian team for the sake of their family. Patricia Belcher, Reed Diamond, & Andrew Leeds guest star among others.

Who doesn’t love Kevin Bacon? (Okay, you in the back, please move along. ;)) So a new thriller with Kevin Bacon in it is an awesome prospect. I have been looking forward to the premiere of The Following since I watched the pilot in the fall. This show pushes boundaries for network TV with the level of violence, but seeing as it’s a show about a serial killer, it should come as no surprise.
Former FBI agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) is called back to consult when the intelligent, charismatic serial killer, Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) escapes from prison. Hardy was the one who originally put him away, but now he must not only help to find and recapture Carroll but deal with the group of people that have formed a cult following in Carroll’s footsteps. It’s twisted, suspenseful, and has a talented cast—what’s not to love?!
On tonight’s series premiere, “Pilot,” former FBI Agent Ryan Hardy is called out of retirement when serial killer Joe Carroll escapes from prison; investigations lead to the discovery of a cult.

I’ll also be watching Hawaii Five-0, Bones, Bunheads, 2 Broke Girls, and Deception.
It’s great to have Bunheads back on TV again, especially with Michelle back in Paradise, as she is supposed to be. The adult tapping class was great (hello, Princess Fiona, which Sutton Foster played in Shrek), and combining Michelle and Truly is always fun! And imagining a show without the girls is impossible.
On tonight’s episode, “I’ll Be Your Meyer Lansky,” Michelle and Fanny have to come up with a way to make money, and fast, to supplement the dance studio while the girls continue to be mystified by the new students.
See what they learn on ABC Family at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bunheads @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching 2 Broke Girls, 90210, Mike & Molly, Lost Girl, and Castle.

Last week’s episode of Castle was good—let’s face it…there’s never a bad episode. 😉 The case was kind of forgettable, and there weren’t really any great Caskett moments, but honestly, the best part of the episode was Esposito taking an interest in the young teenager and trying to make a difference in the boy’s life. We got a glimpse into his past when he showed the boy his own juvenile record and told him about his past. I would love to see more of Espo in this role of caretaker. It suits him.
On tonight’s episode, “Death Gone Crazy,” when Beau Randolf, the founder of hit adult video franchise “College Girls Gone Crazy,” is murdered, Castle and Beckett are confronted with a lengthy list of husbands, fathers, and ex-college girls who all have motive. So to find the killer, they must delve deep into the victim’s life, where they find surprises at every turn. Also in the episode, Alexis starts a video blog, but Castle is not happy that personal and intimate details about her life are being made public.

I’ll also be watching The Following, 2 Broke Girls, The Bachelor, Mike & Molly, Continuum, How I Met Your Mother, Next Great Baker, Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, Hawaii Five-0, & Pawn Star$.
