The problem with going on vacation for a week is that you need a second vacation once you return just to catch up on all the TV you missed. Not to mention that it’s also tough going from a week of 70+ degree weather back to highs of just 20 degrees! There’s a lot of great new TV I’ll be adding to my TiVo backlog tonight, so here’s our suggestions on what you should check out.

I’m anxiously awaiting tonight’s series finale of Last Resort. Last week, the mutiny was looming, and the power struggle continued between COB and Chaplin, with each of them making offers to the XO to join his camp. Meanwhile, in DC, the Speaker of the House was giving a speech when an aide approached him. Buell stopped himself mid-speech, confessed to the planned coup of the President, and shot himself on live TV. While leaving the House, Kylie was grabbed by some men and brought to a limo, where her father told her he got her name removed from the list of conspirators and revealed that he was backing the President. Back on the island, the mutiny started, and it appeared that Grace had chosen to side with COB. However, when Chaplin arrived at the Colorado, Anders was holding her at gunpoint.
So what will happen tonight? How will the mutiny end, and who will control the Colorado? What will happen to the failed coup conspirators in Washington? Will the President ever pay for his crimes? Will the crew of the Colorado be able to return home, or are they stuck on this island? I wonder how much will they will really be able to resolve with just this one re-written final hour, but I hope we get a satisfying conclusion.
On tonight’s episode, “Controlled Flight into Terrain,” Chaplin and Kendal must prevent the Colorado from being captured in the series finale.

Ever find that by the time television comes back with new episodes in January, you are in serious need of some giggles? 1600 Penn has you covered. This show is hilarity in its finest form. Bill Pullman and Jenna Elfman are incredible, and I find myself laughing non-stop week to week. I was a little hesitant at first, but when I watched the pilot and the son kept messing up and even lighting things on fire—I was in hysterics. In the end, he managed to ease things over, but it’s going to be a season full of black sheep moments, I can feel it.
On tonight’s episode, “Meet the Parent,” the President tracks down an important person, Emily creates a difficult situation while entertaining the Austrian chancellor and his wife, and Skip realizes his true calling.
To get your giggle on, tune into NBC at 9:30/8:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of 1600 Penn @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching Last Resort, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Vampire Diaries.

I quickly caught up on Suits over Christmas to watch the new episodes before last week. The show is hilarious. Harvey and Mike work well together, Gina Torres is awesome as Katherine Pearson, and Louis is always a fun punching bag. And I was horrified by Donna getting fired during the first part of season 2, but she’s back again!
On tonight’s episode, “Blood in the Water,” the war with Daniel may be over, but the battle has left Pearson Hardman vulnerable, and Harvey must protect the firm from a rival whose attack seems as personal as it is professional.
See what fun the guys can get into tonight on USA Network at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Suits @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching 30 Rock, American Idol, The Vampire Diaries, Parks and Recreation, Glee, and Project Runway.
I have really been enjoying Workaholics and Kroll Show but my sense of Humor is fairly childish! haha
I also enjoy Workaholics–I’m a week behind on Kroll Show, but the parody of Degrassi on the premiere was hilarious.
