I am loving all the snow we’ve been getting because winter is really one of my favorite seasons. I don’t even mind driving in it. My pet peeve is everyone else who is driving in it. You know who I’m talking about… The genius who is going 20 mph in the fast lane on the highway, even though the road is clear—those paste eaters are what causes accidents. If you don’t feel comfortable driving in snow, STAY HOME!! 🙂 Now, onto a less ranting part of the post… Tonight is filled with excellent new TV, so let’s see what you should be watching.

Blue Bloods still sits on the list of shows I watch live as often as I can because of the quality cast. The story lines at times are a little slow moving, but the cast makes me love the show regardless. I will admit there are times when I’m watching that I see Donny Wahlberg and suddenly get the urge to sing “Step by Step,” but that’s part of the charm. He’s sexy as the no-nonsense detective, but my heart is wrapped around Jamie (Will Estes). That boy can make a girl swoon. *sigh* Okay, so I may have more reasons for watching than just a love of crime dramas… Sexy casts go a long way to entice me. 😀
On tonight’s episode, “Men in Black,” before a Hasidic Grand Rebbe passes away, he chooses his youngest son to succeed him. But when the new appointee dies suddenly, Danny investigates the oldest son and others within the Hasidic community. Meanwhile, Henry reveals a family secret to Frank.
To see if Danny can solve the murder in such a close-knit community, tune into CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Blue Bloods @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching Touch, CSI: NY, Spartacus, and The Job.

CSI: NY is still one of my favorite crime dramas on TV right now. I love the whole team—especially Danny & Lindsay, so I’m thrilled they are having another baby! Last week’s episode dealt with a young pizza maker who was killed for some unknown reason. It turned out he was smuggling cheese across the border to Canada, but the killers thought he’d been loading drugs, rather than blocks of cheese. It was incredibly sad. 🙁
Tonight’s episode will be great. It wraps up the two-part episode with this week’s CSI. Christine has been kidnapped, and Mac is going out of his mind with worry. For his sake, I truly hope they find her in time! We’re just three episodes from the end of the season—or the series, if you are cynical… I’m crossing my fingers it’s JUST the season finale in a couple of weeks.
On tonight’s episode, “Seth and Apep,” Mac and the team partner with D.B. Russell to outsmart Christine’s kidnappers before they run out of time to save her life. Ted Danson & Navid Negahban (Homeland) guest star.
Don’t miss it tonight on CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of CSI: NY @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Last Man Standing, Nikita, Malibu Country, & Blue Bloods.

Tonight, Touch returns to Fox with an exciting 2-hour season premiere. At the end of last season, the mysterious Amelia Sequence had led Martin Bohm (Kiefer Sutherland) and his son Jake (David Mazouz) from New York City to Los Angeles. On the pier, they had a chance encounter with Lucy (Maria Bello), Amelia’s mother, who has also been following the same sequence of numbers in hopes that it would lead her to her daughter. Tonight’s second season premiere picks up immediately where the show left off.
I have already seen tonight’s two episodes, and despite the change in setting, cast, and tone of the series, at its core, it’s still very much the same show. There is still all of the inter-connecting pieces, but the series seems a lot more serialized, and there is this seamless flow from one episode into the next—much like how Heroes was—that I really enjoyed. Tonight’s premiere introduces some new characters and interesting mysteries that I’m looking forward to seeing play out over the course of the season.
Earlier this week, I participated in a press Q&A with the producers of the series, Tim Kring and Carol Barbee. You can find my write-up on NoReruns.net.
On tonight’s episodes, “Event Horizon” & “Closer,” Martin and Jake join Lucy’s search for her daughter, Amelia, in California. Meanwhile, Aster Corporation’s Calvin Norburg hopes to make a significant discovery; and religious zealot Guillermo Ortiz concentrates on his vision.
See the 2-hour premiere tonight on FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Touch @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Job, CSI: NY, Portlandia, Spartacus, and Banshee.
