I just have to say that last night, I watched Breaking Dawn 2 for the first time, and…damn. It was everything I’d hoped for and more. I was blown away by the story and the way the movie ended the series. Now, on to television… Last night’s Bones was great and incredibly sad. I’m glad to see that tonight, we’ll get some more great episodes. Read on to find out all our thoughts on what we recommend. 😉
Jenny’s Choice
Last week’s episode of NCIS: LA focused on Sam, when he became too invested in a case involving an Afghani man who helped him years ago overseas. It was a very sad case, actually. The man had given Sam “lokhay,” which basically amounted to hiding him from the bad guys. The man’s nephew blamed him for the other men killing their entire family, and he was helping set up Sam to get killed.
This week’s episode once again features Sam…and while I’m okay with that, I think we’re overdue for a good Deeks-centric episode, don’t you think? 😉
On tonight’s episode, “Wanted,” Sam fears for his family’s safety when his wife is called to resume a former CIA cover after a case suggests ties to the infamous Sidorov and his stolen nukes. Aunjanue Ellis guest stars as Sam’s wife.

Megan’s Choice
You would think with the amount of crime dramas I watch, I’d be tired of them by now. Well, I’m not, especially when shows like Body of Proof keep being fabulous. The story line of Lacey being kidnapped was so nervewracking, but I also loved how we saw a softer side of Megan when she relied on Tommy. Speaking of Tommy, I am loving the addition of his character, especially seeing as he is played by the uber-sexy Mark Valley (Human Target). I do miss Peter, though, and it’ll be interesting to see if his character is missed by the cast throughout the season.
On tonight’s episode, “Lost Souls,” Megan and Tommy are faced with an unusual investigation when a couple claim their daughter was killed by the devil.

Kyle’s Choice
I can’t wait for tonight’s season finale of The Joe Schmo Show, when the truth will be revealed. Last week, the producers wanted Lorenzo to stay in the competition, so they rigged Chase’s obstacles to be more difficult. However, Chase once again completely surprised them, flew through the course, and won the challenge. So then it was up to Allen to work on convincing Chase to vote out Chico—which he did.
This whole season has been amazing. The series came back after ten years without losing any of the clever humor of the first two seasons. I can’t wait to see Chase’s reaction tonight when he finds out the truth. From the ads, it looks like he might actually be angry—but I’m wondering if this more because he actually wanted that Bounty Hunter job and less about the fact that people lied to him!
On tonight’s episode, “The Reveal,” Chase undertakes a spiritual quest, hunts down his own fugitive, and uncovers a secret his wife has been hiding.

JJ’s Choice
A new show runner, a new night, lower ratings, and it all feels like the same show with a new coat of paint unfortunately. I couldn’t have been more joyed that Ellis was out, but so far, Jeremy Jordan’s Jimmy is as big of a jerk with his own set of problems. And the writing is still all over the place—they haven’t slimmed down on guest stars, and the focus on Bombshell appears to be incidental at best. From the ratings, there is a big chance this is the final season of Smash, but it still is a fun show. The music is great and the people are attractive; that’s something, right?
On tonight’s episode, “The Read-Through,” Julia’s fears of Peter increase when Tom airs his suspicions, Jimmy and Kyle face a crisis of confidence over “Hit List,” and Ivy realises her triumph might not be all she hoped when she meets her new co-star.
