It’s the end of the week…and what a week it’s been. My kid’s on spring break, but there are no friends in the neighborhood in town, and the weather has been awful. Cold, snowy… So he’s been stuck inside all week. Ah well. Just one of those things. We’ve caught up on some shows, but we still have a long way to go…and tonight has a few episodes to make that situation worse, not better. Megan & I are here to tell you what we recommend. 🙂
Tonight is the season finale of Last Man Standing. I’ve enjoyed the second season. I wasn’t sure at the beginning because they replaced the actress playing Kristin, and I’d really liked Alexandra Krosney. But Amanda Fuller has been great, even though I’m still far from a fan of Ryan and his relationship with Kristin. The show is listed as “Could go either way” on TVLine’s page, and if it isn’t renewed, I’ll be quite sad.
On tonight’s episode, “College Girl,” when Mandy gets accepted to not one but two colleges, Kristin realizes it’s time to re-evaluate where she is in her life, especially after running into a successful former co-worker. Eve gets help with her Junior ROTC competition from their neighbor Chuck. Jonathan Taylor Thomas makes a special guest star appearance when he reunites with Tim Allen, his dad from Home Improvement.
Tonight is also the season finale of Malibu Country. I absolutely love Reba, and this show has been consistently cute and funny all season. Lily Tomlin is brilliant as Lillie May, Reba’s mother, and the kids have grown on me as the season went along. Again, the show could go either way according to TVLine, and I’ll be just as sad because this has provided many laughs for me.
On tonight’s episode, “All You Single Ladies,” Lillie May, Geoffrey, & Kim secretly makes an online date for Reba. Even though her first meeting with Brad doesn’t exactly go as planned, Reba finds herself appreciating the experience and believes that she might be ready to take on the dating scene. Stacy Keach & Eddie McClintock guest star.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Grimm.

Friday nights are exciting in my house because it means I’m getting a new episode of Grimm. Stop laughing. I don’t get out much. 😉 Honestly, new television is as exciting as chocolate for me (unless we’re talking chocolate-covered pretzels, because then it may be a tie). Where was I? Oh right… Grimm!
Last week’s episode was really good, especially since we got back to the heart of the creature of the week, with the Wesen bank robbers. I really enjoyed watching Monroe get all preachy about the rules of the Wesen community, because I hope it means we’re going to delve deeper into the mysterious world of Wesen politics and what makes their world tick. Juliette tripping out on the love potion antidote and seeing a giant pit in her house was kind of amusing. At first I thought it was real, and I kept asking myself why she didn’t just break a window to escape the cavern, but when her phone started ringing after being dropped in the imaginary abyss, I knew it wasn’t real. I don’t think even AT&T has service areas that stretch that far. 🙂
On tonight’s episode, “Mr. Sandman,” when a woman dies after becoming suddenly blind, Nick and Hank discover a Wesen that feeds off tears; Adalind considers her situation; Rosalee attempts to help Juliette recover her memories.
To see if they can stop the Wesen before it dries up all eyes for good, tune in to NBC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Grimm @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching Touch and Spartacus.
