It’s a rather slow week for new TV, which is a good and bad thing for me. I have 37% free space on my DVR…but I’m watching as much as I can. Several of those things are entire seasons (Continuum, Justified, The Americans, The Bible, & Vikings) not to mention a handful of episodes of a few shows, as well… Still, there’s a few good shows on tonight, so we’re here to give you our top picks for the night. 😀

I have really enjoyed The New Normal since it premiered in September. I absolutely love the relationship between David & Bryan and Goldie & Shania. David & Bryan genuinely care about Goldie & Shania, even apart from the fact that she is carrying their son. I hated Clay at the beginning, but now…I guess I can’t help but like him. He really seems to be changing for the better and really trying for Shania especially. I hated that he came on and stayed, but now, I don’t think it is such a bad thing that he’s there. Tonight is two new episodes, which includes the season finale. Things don’t look great for renewal, but surprises have happened, so I’m not counting it out before we hear for certain. All season has been leading to Bryan & David’s wedding and the arrival of their baby. Will we get both tonight?
On tonight’s first episode, “Finding Name-O,” Bryan & David are facing the hardest decision of their relationship, what to name their baby. The conflict prompts Goldie to reveal the origin of Shania’s name leading to brief identity crises for both of them. Later, while breezing through their wedding planning, David suggests that Bryan invite his mother Colleen (guest star Mary Kay Place), but her added opinion leads to more conflict and an unusual resolution. Meanwhile, Clay decides it’s time to let Goldie know how he feels, after receiving some unsolicited advice from Brice (guest star John Stamos).
Then on the second episode, “The Big Day,” the wedding is finally here, and despite all of the challenges that pop up throughout the day, Bryan and David are dead set on getting married before the arrival of their baby, but their son has other plans.
Don’t miss the last two episodes of the season tonight on NBC at 9:01/8:01c & 9:31/8:31c. Learn where to find episodes online of The New Normal @ TV.com.

The Voice premiered last week, and I was not disappointed! I loved Usher as a judge, but Shakira was mediocre—but still less annoying than Christina in my opinion. It was a nice change of pace to have some different personalities in the mix, and I feel that Usher and Adam play well off each other. So far, there’s been some great talent, and again this season, I have a hard time deciding on who I’m already supporting. Stay tuned because as always, I’m sure I’ll form an opinion. 🙂
On tonight’s episode, “The Blind Auditions, Part 3,” the judges continue to battle it out for singers who inspire them to spin their chairs around.
To see if they find another superstar, tune in to NBC starting at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Voice @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching Hell’s Kitchen, New Girl, The Mindy Project, & Body of Proof.

Tonight, another season of Justified comes to a close. Last week, Raylan learned he would be having a girl, but there was a more pressing matter of finding Ellen May and making sure she was safe. It was Ava who found Ellen May first, but she couldn’t pull the trigger when the time came. So Boyd told Colt to finish the job, but just then, Deputy Marshall Tim arrived and the two men had a stand-off, with the marshal getting the first shot off. Meanwhile, Winona was getting the nursery set up when a delivery man arrived with a rocking chair—and we learned that the delivery man was actually Picker, one of Nicky’s men.
It was a tense final few minutes last week, wondering what was going to happen to Winona—was Picker going to do something to her? Was that chair going to blow up? What will Raylan do when he finds out Nicky was that close to the mother of his daughter?! While this hasn’t been my favorite season of the series, (I found myself completely confused several times throughout the season due to the shear number of characters), but it will be interesting to see how they wrap the season up tonight.
On tonight’s episode, “Ghosts,” Raylan faces off with the Detroit mob.
See if Raylan can keep Ellen May and Winona safe tonight on FX at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Justified @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/recording Body of Proof, The New Normal, Smash, Hell’s Kitchen, The Mindy Project, Chopped, and Cougar Town.

For me, this is somehow turning into the year of the comedy. Not a week has gone by when there wasn’t at least one comedy I recommended. The Mindy Project is one of the shows this season that has quickly grown on me. Although the writers are clearly searching for the “comedy they want to write,” they are settling on a loveable group of misfits trying to keep a clinic afloat while maintaining a personal life, and I love it.
On tonight’s episode, “My Cool Christian Boyfriend,” Mindy feels compelled to attend the church of the minister she is dating, but when he admits that he thinks she’s a selfish person, Mindy decides to go on a practice volunteer trip to a women’s prison.
See how Mindy’s trip to the big house goes tonight on FOX at 9:30/8:30c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Mindy Project @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching Splash, The Voice, Cougar Town, and Smash.

How GOOD was last week’s Body of Proof?? I really loved it—and it kept me guessing until the end. I thought for sure Sergei was guilty of murder, but in the end, he turned out to be a good guy—and he was SO sexy in that last scene he had with Kate through the gate. That scene was absolutely heartbreaking.
Tonight should be another great episode. For one, Luke Perry is back as Dr. Charles Stafford, who is now the Health Commissioner. We last saw him in last season during the two-part episode that led to Peter’s girlfriend’s—and nearly Kate’s—death. Plus, it’s zombies! Zombies are always fun!
On tonight’s episode, “Skin and Bones,” Megan and Tommy investigate the savage murder of a young woman, which leads them to her neighbor, who bites Tommy and is diagnosed with rabies. When another rabies fatality comes in without any bite marks, Kate calls in the new health commissioner, Dr. Charles Stafford, to help Megan uncover the truth. Could it really be zombies, as some of her colleagues suspect?
Don’t miss it tonight on ABC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Body of Proof @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Hell’s Kitchen, 19 Kids & Counting, Dancing with the Stars, Chopped, Cougar Town, Justified, & Robot Combat League.
