If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/5/13

Another fairly slow week of TV is coming to a close, and while there’s not much on tonight, there are definitely some great shows that we want to recommend, so pay attention. 😉

Jenny’s Choice

grimm45smallI loved the gaming episode of Grimm last week. It was seriously creepy, but the way they caught the guy was pretty great. My only complaint is that once again, I dislike the Juliette character something fierce. I know she wants her memory back, but the threat to Monroe and Rosalee about “tell me the location of the trailer or I’ll leave and forget Nick forever” was just too much. She’s toying with Nick’s feelings, putting Monroe & Rosalee in the middle, and is just damn annoying. Hrmph. But tonight’s episode, which should feature a lot of Rosalee and Monroe, should be really good. So that helps. 😉

On tonight’s episode, “One Angry Fuchsbau,” while on jury duty, Rosalee tasks Nick, Hank, and Monroe to help stop a defense attorney from using his particular “Wesen wiles” to overturn what should be an open-and-shut murder case. Back at the precinct, Captain Renard brings Nick and Hank in on his own recent dealings with the Verrat, to keep them on their toes. Meanwhile, a return to the trailer brings a flurry of memories of Nick rushing back to Juliette.

To see if the gang can stop the sly lawyer, tune in to NBC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Grimm @ TV.com.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Happy Endings, Nikita, & Blue Bloods.

Megan’s Choice

bluebloods45smallI’m glad there’s a new episode of Blue Bloods to entertain me tonight, because I’ve been missing it! I’m not sure what it is about this family of crime fighters that makes me smile, but I can’t help but love this show. Last time, we saw Erin come to terms with her mentor becoming a murderer to seek justice for a case that didn’t go as he had planned. Unfortunately, in the end, he committed suicide before Danny could stop him. It was an intense episode.

On tonight’s episode, “Loss of Faith,” when a devoutly religious young woman is found murdered in a cemetery, Danny questions her family, who is shocked to learn that she had a secret relationship.

To see if Danny can bring some peace to the family, tune in to CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Blue Bloods @ TV.com.

I’ll also be watching Grimm and Spartacus.
