Tonight is the series premiere of The Sheards on BET at 10/9c. The show is a weekly docu-drama following the lives of the Sheard family as they navigate family, friends, and faith in a modern world. Faith. Music. Sex. Family. Love. Relationships. Choices. These are all issues teens and young adults face. But when you’re a pastor’s kid and live in a world where drinking, sex and drugs are all considered abominations, these issues become a lot more powerful. It will follow the lives of Kierra “KiKi” Sheard, 24, and her brother J. Drew Sheard, 22. As the kids of First Lady Karen Clark Sheard, one of gospel’s most powerful women, and Bishop J. Drew Sheard, a mega-church pastor in Detroit, they face a responsibility unlike any other. And as they continue to grow and face the ups and downs of becoming adults, they’ll show us the choices they make as they learn life’s lessons, in many cases the hard way.

As the CEO and founder of a boutique matchmaking company for the urban elite, this no-nonsense matchmaker doesn’t hold back on her thoughts or feelings when it comes to telling her clients why they are still single and how to get past their dating faux pas. Using unique techniques, such as setting her clients up on “Fake Dates” with her dating coaches, Natalie gathers intel on her clients strengths and weaknesses. With her team of romance strategists including her right-hand man and dating coach George Ray, these stubborn single ladies are put to the ultimate test to find their match.

Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of Ready for Love on NBC at 9:01/8:01c. The show is an innovative and dramatic new dating competition series that answers the age-old question: How far would you go to find your soul mate? Three of America’s most eligible guys are about to find out. Executive Producer Eva Longoria hand selected three successful and handsome men who are committed to finding the right women with whom to share their lives. Ben Patton, a financier from Dallas, Texas; Tim Lopez, a musician from Santa Barbara, California and Ernesto Arguello, a philanthropist from Miami, Florida will vie for the chance to find true love. In order to find their ideal partners, Longoria has enlisted the help of the three best matchmakers in the world. The series begins with the matchmakers’ nationwide search for the potential perfect mate for each man, and then launches into a romantic journey that will combine in-studio competition and reality show elements. Each week, the women who fail to make a connection with the men will be sent home. In an intense finale, the quest for love culminates when the three men choose their final three women who together must decide if they’ll get engaged, married, or simply live happily ever after. No matter what happens, they will all discover if they are really “Ready for Love.”
