It was a busy weekend around my house, but the highlight for my daughter has to be an afternoon of driving her ATV. She is all decked out with safety gear of course, including a really cool helmet that she loves. It may give me slight heart palpitations at times, but she really has a love for driving—next step, her own dirt bike (and Valium for me!). To take my mind off how quickly my little girl is growing up, let’s see what’s on TV tonight.

The Following is still managing to make me sit on the edge of my seat week after week—especially last week! We watched as Joey was rescued, much to the help of Jacob, who gave him up when Ryan persuaded him. I’m not sure where Jacob is going in the future, but I was interested to see Jacob and Emma being together after Joe was mean to Emma. Claire was happy her son was free, but tried to make Joe leave Joey alone by using his need for her to love him against him. She stabbed Joe, and while he survived, he is very angry and is planning on killing Claire now. I am definitely curious to see where the show goes in the last two episodes.
On tonight’s episode, “The End is Near,” Weston, Parker, and Ryan plan on storming the mansion, but Joe has already orchestrated his escape; followers cause a distraction at the town evacuation center, leading to confusion and the abduction of an FBI official.
To see who gets grabbed by the followers, tune in to FOX at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Followers @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching Bones, The Voice, and Bates Motel.

Most of the time, I have trouble picking which episode out of Bones & Castle I’m more anxious to see. Lately, it’s been the ABC dramedy, although last week’s Bones edged that out with the arrival of Booth’s mother. Booth was WAY too easily accepting of her at the beginning, blowing off how much it had hurt when she’d left him as a kid. I called from almost the very beginning that he would end up exploding at her once he quit forcing the happy feelings to overpower the sad/angry ones…and I was right. When she explained that she was getting married and that she’d been “mothering” his kids, Booth lost it—and with every right. I don’t know what abused women have to deal with, thank God. But I do know that I would never be able to leave my husband and leave the kids with him—especially if he were abusive. And if my mother had done it, I’m not sure I could forgive her. In the end, Bones got him to forgive her and they went to her wedding, where he walked her down the aisle. It was a poignant moment, no matter how you felt about his mother.
This week, Bones is the one I’m looking forward to most again because it looks like it’s going to be an action- and emotion-packed hour of television. l *hope* it doesn’t end with a character death, but honestly, they’ve done it before (& of course, look where it led: to Booth & Brennan getting together & making love, conceiving Christine and starting their relationship…), so it wouldn’t surprise me. And while it’s not quite May sweeps, we’re close enough that maybe… I dunno…
On tonight’s episode, “The Pathos in the Pathegens,” the Jeffersonian team rushes to prevent a viral outbreak while investigating the murder of journalist Mia Garrett after her infected body is found at a biohazard facility. When the mutated virus that killed Mia infects one of their own, their only chance of saving him or her is by solving the murder. Tension and passion build as the team races against the clock to find the killer—and the cure. Mackenzie Astin, Kenneth Mitchell, Laura Kai Chen, Robert Mailhouse, & Lennie Loftin guest star.
See who gets infected and whether or not he/she lives tonight on FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bones @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Oh Sit!, Rules of Engagement, Defiance, The Following, Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, & Castle.

Castle has had some really fun episodes lately! Last week, Castle and Beckett were on the hunt for Bigfoot after finding some large footprints at a murder scene. Meanwhile, someone was stealing food from Castle’s fridge, so he set a trap to catch the culprit—which ended up turning Alexis into a smurf. In the end, it turned out that Bigfoot was being framed for a murder he didn’t commit and that the monster was just a guy in an ape suit. But Castle’s reaction when he fell into a pit with the “monster” was great.
To me, Castle and Bones are such similar shows, but I find that I usually enjoy the week’s Castle episode a lot more. I like the way Castle and Beckett’s relationship has progressed over the course of the series. I really look forward to this show each week—it is always a perfect blend of drama, mystery, humor, and an interesting case of the week.
On tonight’s episode, “The Squab and the Quail,” Beckett must protect a charismatic billionaire whose life is in peril, prompting her to ponder her romance with Castle as it reaches a standstill. Meanwhile, Castle begins feeling insecure, so he tries to get the billionaire’s case solved quickly. Ioan Gruffudd, Russ Bain, Andy Wagner, & Jamie Hill guest star.
See if this case gives Castle the shove he needs to take the next step in his relationship with Beckett tonight on ABC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Castle @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/recording Revolution, Bones, The Following, Bates Motel, and Defiance.

Tonight is the season finale of Lost Girl, and if the previous two season finales are any indication, tonight will be a hell of a ride. In the last new episode, Hale’s inauguration was foiled by The Morrigan and placing a kill order on all humans connected with or held by the Fae. And Lauren realized she was deceived by Dr. Taft, who was hunting and experimenting on Fae. And when Lauren was imprisoned, we found Aife imprisoned as well, while Tamsin was shot. It was a great starting off point for the season finale, and it will be interesting to see what will happen next.
On tonight’s episode, “Those Who Wander,” Kenzi manages to escape, but leaves again quickly for a very radical change, Lauren decides to help Dr. Taft at a price, Tamsen finally makes a decision regarding Bo, and the mysterious Wanderer appears.
Find out who he is on Syfy at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Lost Girl @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching Oh Sit!, The Voice, 90210, Defiance (awesome premiere last week!), Castle, and Revolution.
