Yay! It’s Friday! There are a few good things on, but thank goodness it’s been a fairly slow week because Wednesday next week, my DVR needs to be empty… We’re switching internet/TV/phone providers—and saving ourselves like $50/month. Yay for that. LOL So tonight, Megan & I are here to tell you what you should be watching, even if you don’t have a lot of time or DVR space. 😉
It’s been three weeks since the last new episode of Grimm because last week was preempted due to news coverage in Boston. On the last new episode, Rosalee was serving on the jury during a murder trial and realized there was something…off about the defense attorney. She asked Nick and Monroe to look into it. Turned out the attorney was a Wesen who ate some weird, cute little frogs that then allowed him to secrete an “invisible” mist that made everyone believe his client was innocent—all the witnesses changed their stories to what he suggested, and all the jury members believed whatever he said without question. Monroe was able to inject the frogs with a potion that took away the attorney’s “power,” so he couldn’t use it in the future, which resulted in the bad guy being convicted for killing his wife, too. Two of the best parts of the episode were the chase, when Monroe creatured-out and chased the attorney down the street, and at the end, when the attorney came into the spice shop and started to attack Rosalee, and Monroe got all “tough boyfriend protecting his woman.” It was great.
On tonight’s episode, “Volcanalis,” Nick finds himself fighting a wildly different sort of nature freak in a desperate attempt to keep a volcano from burying Portland in lava. Meanwhile a pregnant Adalind meets a powerful new ally (guest star Shohreh Aghdashloo) in Europe, and Juliette seeks out help after becoming overwhelmed by the latest side effect of her recovery: multiple memories of Nick showing up everywhere.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Nikita & Blue Bloods.

The Regan family is going to be chilling in my living room tonight because they’re back with an all-new episode of Blue Bloods. When we last spent time with my favorite crime-fighting family, Danny and Linda were at odds because she put hospital policies above what he felt was necessary for the investigation. Frank and Jamie helped Sean build a derby car for his race and taught Henry a lesson in honesty when he wanted to beef up the car to beat a family rival.
On tonight’s episode, “Devil’s Breath,” when Danny finds a disoriented man in a park covered in his girlfriend’s blood, he finds it hard to believe that the man has no recollection of the night’s events…until they find a strong narcotic in his bloodstream. Meanwhile, Jamie gets into trouble when he helps an off-duty officer cover up his intoxication after he apprehended an armed robber.
To see what causes Jamie to have such bad judgement, tune in to CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Blue Bloods @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching Kitchen Nightmares, Grimm, and Da Vinci’s Demons.
