Welcome to Monday! I had a pretty good weekend (although didn’t have a party like Megan did! 😉 ), but I’m excited for the new week… We’re in the first full week of May Sweeps, which means we should get some GREAT new episodes. Tonight is far from an exception, with some big season finales, premieres, and other important episodes. The four of us are here to point out what we consider the episodes you shouldn’t miss.
Jenny’s Choice #1
Again this week, Bones is my top pick. Last week was super emotional, after Aristoo was accidentally stuck by a contaminated needle. The team had to rush to find the dead woman’s killer so he could lead them to the antidote. Once they found him, they tried to appeal to his sense of compassion to help Aristoo, who was an innocent, but the man wouldn’t give up the location of the cure until Brennan stabbed him with a needle she said was the virus he’d used on the victim. It really wasn’t full of the virus, but the threat worked and he caved to save his own life. What a stand-up guy, huh?
Tonight is the season finale, and it looks like it’s gonna be huge. Pelant is back, there may be some changes coming up for Booth & Brennan in their relationship, and you have to wonder… Will we FINALLY find out what Pelant did to Booth’s alarm clock?! Emily Deschanel recently spoke to the press about tonight’s finale, so you can check that out here: Emily Deschanel Interview.
On tonight’s episode, “The Secret in the Siege,” when evil tech genius Christopher Pelant (guest star Andrew Leeds) returns to toy with the Jeffersonian team in their newest investigation, they discover that the string of murders that have been occurring are tied to FBI agents close to Booth. Meanwhile, as the investigation unfolds, Sweets realizes that the evidence seems all too familiar to him and Brennan starts evaluating her relationship with Booth when signs begin to point to him as a potential target of Pelant’s.
See how Pelant screws with the Booth, Brennan, and the team tonight on FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bones @ TV.com.

Some things never change—like my love for Hawaii Five-0, which is why I’m so excited for another new episode tonight. Last episode, we went for a trip down memory lane with Steve when he went back to North Korea to recover the body of his former partner in the Navy SEALS. We watched how McGarrett came to be where he was—and how that path contributed to the death of his father. It was a good episode for Catherine and McGarrett because she left him little choice of her going with him, and it just highlighted what a great team they are.
On tonight’s episode, “Imi loko ka ‘uhane,” Five-0 allows a talk show host and her crew to follow them for the day, but the investigation turns dangerous when they have a run-in with Wo Fat.
To see if they finally get Wo Fat, tune in to CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Hawaii Five-0 @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching The Following, Bones, Mike & Molly, The Voice, 2 Broke Girls, and Warehouse 13.
Tonight, Warehouse 13 returns for the second half of the fourth season. When we last left the Warehouse, Artie had killed Leena and released the sweating sickness before he was stabbed by Claudia. Will Artie survive? And if so, will he still be evil? And can the rest of the gang figure out how to stop the sickness from spreading? (You can probably guess the answers to those questions. :)) I really enjoyed tonight’s mid-season premiere—the show is back in full force, with its perfect mix of fun, action, and drama.
On tonight’s episode, “The Living and the Dead,” the entire planet is in danger from the sweating sickness. To find a cure and save the world, Pete and Myka must rely on a seemingly unreliable professor. At the same time, Claudia and Steve risk their lives to help Artie.
Find out if Artie survives and if the team can save the world tonight on Syfy at a new time of 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Warehouse 13 @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/recording How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Castle, Revolution, Bones, The Following, Bates Motel, Defiance, and The Big C.
Only two episodes into Defiance and already it’s somewhere at the top of my list of shows to watch. The vibe it gives off is similar to that of Battlestar Galactica, although it’s set in an entirely different universe. So far, I’m loving the fact that everyone seems to have their own agenda they are pursuing and the show isn’t afraid to show it. In the long run, this could become convoluted, but let’s hope it doesn’t.
On tonight’s episode, “The Devil in the Dark,” Irisa comes face to face with a disturbing power, and she has no choice but to confront it. Defiance is attacked by Hellbugs, dangerous creatures that turn out to be just as devastating and terrifying as their name implies.
See how the Hellbugs mess with the citizens of Defiance tonight on Syfy at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Defiance @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching Oh Sit!, The Voice, 2 Broke Girls, 90210, Warehouse 13, Castle, and Revolution.
Jenny’s Choice #2
I was not a very happy camper during last week’s episode of Castle (and apparently “shipping” is contagious, as my son is as big a Castle/Beckett shipper as I am! LOL). I still can’t decide if Castle was just a man and totally clueless or if he was being deliberately obtuse at the end when Beckett asked him where they were going and he said the bedroom. A bazillionaire’s life was threatened, and when he requested that Beckett be his personal 24/7 bodyguard, Castle got so jealous. He was ordering Ryan and Espo to solve the case fast to get her away from the guy (him so hyper because of all the coffee he’d drunk was hysterical). But Beckett was clearly swayed by the potential victim’s charm and charisma. He was a genuinely nice guy, rich, good-looking, and he wanted her—and when he tried to kiss her, she only backed away at the very teeny tiny last second. Castle better step it up or he’s gonna lose her. Is he too immature or jaded to want to take their relationship to the next level? I guess we’ll see…
Tonight’s episode was originally supposed to air last week, but because of the bombing in Boston, they decided it was too soon to put this one on the air, so they switched it from last week to this one. This should be an interesting one because not only is it a new episode with what I hope is some great Castle/Beckett moments, but it’s partly a recap-ish show—and that’s great for viewers like my son, who just got into the show this year, so he missed some key Caskett moments.
On tonight’s episode, “Still,” when Beckett’s life is suddenly put in danger, the team searches for a way to save her while Castle keeps her distracted by arguing with her about who fell for whom first.
To see how they save Beckett’s life and how that will affect her relationship with Castle, tune in to ABC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Castle @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, 2 Broke Girls, Defiance, The Following, Mike & Molly, Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, Hawaii Five-0, & Warehouse 13.
