Tonight is the series premiere of Hit the Floor on VH1 at 9/8c. The show explores the sexy world of professional basketball and the dancers who make the fans (and players) go wild. The Los Angeles Devils are the number one team in the league. When the arena lights go on, all of Hollywood comes out to support the million dollar players. But in this city these men share the fame, adrenalin, money, sex and power with their dancers, the Devil Girls. At the heart of the show is Ahsha (Taylour Paige), a sheltered young woman who joins the team against the wishes of her mother Sloane (Kimberly Elise), who knows this treacherous, tempting world all too well having been a Devil Girl herself. Olivia (Charlotte Ross) is the shrewd squad manager, Jelena (Logan Browning) is the ruthless, star captain who won’t let anyone else share the spotlight and Pete Davenport (Dean Cain) is the former All-Star who’s come back to coach his old team only to have to contend with the girls both stealing the spotlight and distracting his players. All the while, the mystery surrounding the disappearance of missing Devil Girls dancer Mia threatens to blow the roof off the entire L.A. Devils organization.

Tonight is the 90-minute series premiere of Family S.O.S. with Jo Frost on TLC at 9/8c. Jo Frost, known around the world as Supernanny, is back on US television, opening the door to families that are in crisis and need help bringing harmony back to their homes. No longer just helping correct the “naughty toddler” phase, the new series will find Jo sharing her respected advice as she helps families of all sizes and structures. From rebellious teenagers causing conflict to bullying at school to battling parents on the edge of divorce, the show will tackle the hot-button issues that every family faces today.
Tonight is also the series premiere of Never Do This at Home on Spike TV at 11/10c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 11:30/10:30c. This new show blends science, danger, and comedy with madcap experiments testing the limits of what a house can withstand – and beyond. In each episode, Wilson and Sousa precariously mix, ignite, flood, explode, and otherwise wreak havoc on the contents of a charming farmhouse – no appliance or fixture is safe in their hands, not even the house itself.

Tonight is the series premiere of The American Baking Competition on CBS at 8/7c. Jeff Foxworthy hosts the competition series based on the format of the hit UK show The Great British Bake Off. Paul Hollywood, the star UK baker and current judge of the British series, and accomplished chef Marcela Valladolid will serve as the series’ judges. It will feature skilled amateurs competing in baking challenges with one ultimately being crowned the winner.
Tonight is also the series premiere of Dancing Fools on ABC Family at 9/8c. The half-hour comedy clip show features the funniest, most outrageous and memorable dances caught on camera. The dancers from the top two clips of the week compete on stage for a chance to win $10,000. The series is hosted by Melissa Peterman.
