By the time this posts, I’ll be en route to San Diego for Comic-Con. I’m both excited and a bit stressed—there’s just so much going on and there’s not enough time (and it’s completely impossible) to do everything. But what I’m really looking forward to is meeting the cast of Breaking Bad—I won a ticket to the fan celebration event on Sunday afternoon! 🙂 But enough about my trip—TV doesn’t stop for Comic-Con. Tonight, there’s a lot on, and we’ve got some suggestions for you to check out.

I have been excited for tonight’s episode of Futurama ever since one of the writers tweeted about it last fall. Every season, the series has one anthology episode comprised of a trio of short stories. One of my favorite episodes of Futurama was one of these anthology episodes, which featured 80’s video game characters. Tonight’s episode, “Saturday Morning Fun Pit,” finds the Planet Express crew starring in three different styles of 1980s Saturday-morning cartoons—Scooby-Doo, G.I. Joe, and Strawberry Shortcake. Being someone who watched a lot of 80s cartoons growing up, I can’t wait to see this parody/homage. I can’t believe we only have a few episodes left of the series!
See your favorites from the 80s tonight on Comedy Central at 10/9c.
I’ll also be recording Big Brother, Camp, MasterChef, Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy, The Bridge, Franklin & Bash, and Royal Pains.

I love hidden camera shows, especially when they bring something different to the party. Tonight is the series premiere of a brand new one, from Executive Producer Howie Mandel, called Deal with It. Everyday people are secretly dared to pull a prank on their unwitting companions with no time to prepare. By agreeing to participate, the contestant must obey all instructions given through an earpiece by host Theo Von and his celebrity guest hiding in a secret control room nearby. These unsuspecting members of the public will be tasked with pulling off some of the most ridiculous behavior ever caught on camera for the opportunity to win cash prizes…if they can deal with it.
I think it’ll be interesting to see how this works—how well the contestants are able to follow the instructions without totally giving it all away by laughing or whatever.
On tonight’s episode, “RC Chaos in Hotel,†one contestant apologizes to a friend with a kiss on the lips after making a scene; a contestant throws her shoe to get a waitress’s attention. Yvette Nicole Brown and Howie Mandel are tonight’s celebrity guests.
Find out how amusing this show is tonight on TBS at 10:30/9:30c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Melissa & Joey, America’s Got Talent, MasterChef, Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy, Royal Pains, The Bridge, Hot in Cleveland, Top Shot, The Exes, & The Soul Man.

MasterChef has been amazing this season, especially with the drama amongst the contestants. Last week, we watched as Krissi’s team put her on the back burner because they didn’t believe in her cooking abilities when it’s apparent that she has more abilities than the rest of them. She totally rocked that pressure cook, when everyone else screwed up royally. I get that she has a horrible attitude at times, but they are pushing her to places that no one should be pushed to. I’m still rooting for her.
On tonight’s episode, “Top 9 Compete,” the nine remaining contestants make sausage link dishes using a sausage maker, with the winner choosing the ingredient to be used in canned versus fresh challenge.
To see how they manage the highly difficult challenge of sausage making, tune in to FOX at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching The Bridge, America’s Got Talent, and Mystery Diners.

Last week, the new season of The Challenge started, and it turned out to be Rivals 2. The last season of Rivals was great, so I couldn’t be more excited. Some of the teams seem ridiculously overpowered (Wes and CT, Zach and Trey, Paula and Emily, and Aneesa and Diem, for instance). But with the shocker on Diem’s ovarian cancer and the surprise that the opposite gender will decide which team will go into the jungle, the first episode was quite interesting.
On tonight’s episode, “New Girl,” the rivals compete in a sexy challenge; one of the newbies freaks out when a hookup does not go as planned.
Find out who will leave tonight on MTV at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy, and Hot in Cleveland.
