Tonight is the series premiere of Ride-iculous on Travel Channel at 8:30/7:30c. It’s an action-packed, just-can’t-believe-what-you’re-seeing series that celebrates the craziest thrill rides and adrenaline attractions – from the tallest human slingshot on the planet (400 feet!) and Europe’s highest bungee jump, to an underground zip line and kite snowboarding. The series travels around the globe and features the most hair-raising, gravity-defying rides, and viewers will be put right in the middle of the action!
Tonight is also the series premiere of The Shed on Food Network at 10/9c. Follow the lives and exploits of the Orrisons – the (unofficial) First Family of Mississippi. Brad Orrison and his family have amassed a fortune through a chain of Barbecue restaurants ultimately becoming the premier team in nationwide barbecue competitions. The Orrisons are a family full of big characters, big toys, and big laughs, and each episode will chronicle a different component of the Orrison’s ever growing family and business empire in the great state of Mississippi. Nothing is too wild for Brad, his family or the “Shed Heads” to conquer… in or out of the Shed.

Tonight is the series premiere of Hot Listings Miami on Style Network at 9/8c. The show follows the extraordinary life of Katrina Campins who is a successful and savvy businesswoman and owner of Miami’s luxury real estate agency, Campins Company. With her business partner and ex-husband Ben Moss, Katrina leads a team of agents, including her sister Camille and new mentee Sunita, to be the premier agency, selling the most exclusive and luxurious properties from a mansion on Star Island to a $25 million South Beach penthouse. She even has recruited her mother, Sophia, to manage marketing for the business which sometimes creates more stress in the workplace. This “alpha female” has made a name for herself in the cutthroat world of real estate, holding her own against her competitors, including Tomi Rose, David Pulley and Patricia Delinois.
Tonight is also the series premiere of The Legend of Shelby the Swamp Man on History Channel at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. For the past four seasons, viewers of HISTORY’s hit series Ax Men followed the exploits of Shelby “Swamp Man” Stanga, the larger-than-life character who lives and logs in southern Louisiana. Born on the bayou, Shelby answers to no one and plays by his own rules. Most people think of the swamps as a place ridden with critters, mud and danger. For Shelby, it’s home. Now, viewers will get to see what this legend of the Atchafalaya Swamp does to survive when he’s not diving for sinker cypress in gator-infested waters. In the wake of Hurricane Isaac, the “Swamp Man” has a problem: his house on the water is wrecked in the storm. Shelby is left with nothing but his best canine buddy, Willie. Viewers will follow Shelby as he goes in search of a new houseboat, all while doing odd jobs to make money for his new home purchase.

Tonight is the series premiere of The White Queen on Starz at 10/9c. The show is adapted from Philippa Gregory’s best-selling novels based on England’s War of the Roses (also known as The Cousins’ War). The novels and series are told from the perspective of the three fiercely determined women who laid claim to the English throne: Elizabeth Woodville (The White Queen), Margaret Beaufort (The Red Queen), and Anne Neville (The Kingmaker’s Daughter). While the men fought and killed on the battlefield in their quest for power, these three women used whatever means possible to wage war on their enemies who stood in their way and threatened their claim. In the STARZ original drama, the year is 1464, before the Tudor dynasty ruled England, and war has been ravaging throughout the country over who is the rightful king. It is a blood feud between two sides of the same family; The House of York and The House of Lancaster. The House of York’s young heir Edward IV is crowned King of England with the help of his mentor and advisor, the master manipulator Lord Warwick, known at court as “The Kingmaker.” When Edward falls in love with a beautiful Lancastrian commoner, Elizabeth Woodville, Warwick’s plan to control the throne comes crashing down. A violent, high-stakes struggle for the crown ensues between Elizabeth, her fiercest adversary, Lancastrian Margaret Beaufort and Anne Neville, a pawn in her father’s power game.
