As of today, I will now have a three-child household fulltime, as my awesome 13-year-old stepson is moving in with us. I’m not going to lie: the prospect of going from two fulltime kids to three is a little frightening, but at least he’s not in diapers. 🙂 Besides, I’m excited to have someone to watch Food Network with! Speaking of television, let’s see what’s on tonight.

I really enjoy a good musical performance show, so I’m looking forward to CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock. Hosted by Little Big Town, it’s a night filled with some of country’s biggest stars, such as Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, and so many more. One of the things I love about the CMA shows are that country stars are always so friendly with everyone, and it’s really like watching a big party. It’s a perfect summer night concert in your living room.
On tonight’s special, we see highlights of the four-day event, featuring today’s hottest country music stars; Little Big Town hosts.
To watch your favorite country artists, tune in to ABC at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching Teen Wolf, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Breaking Pointe, and Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls.

Last week’s King & Maxwell was great. I have grown to really love Rigby, and when he pretended to be not breathing in order to get Michelle to give him mouth-to-mouth, I cracked the heck upラeven more when Michelle and Carter couldn’t help but razz him about The Sandlot. One of my other favorite parts was, yet again, Benny and Edgar. They are just so cute and fun together. It’s such a sweet relationship.
I have utterly loved this show. It’s been my favorite new show in…actually, as long as I can recall. It has everything: fun cases, chemistry between the leads, an overall mystery that doesn’t take over the whole show, humor mixed with drama, and great side characters. I’m so sad tonight is the season finale, but I have absolutely no doubt it will be back next summer.
On tonight’s episode, “Pandora’s Box,” Sean’s investigation of the Ritter assassination threatens to end his partnership with Michelle as she considers returning to the Secret Service. The shocking truth sends Sean back to the scene of the crime to prevent history from repeating itself. Catherine Bell guest-stars.
See if Sean makes headway on the Ritter assassination and what decision Michelle makes tonight on TNT at 10/9c.

Tonight, MythBusters is airing a Breaking Bad specialラor as they’ve been referring to it on Twitter: MethBusters. Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and star Aaron Paul join Adam and Jamie as they explore some of the science used on the series. One of the things they’ll be putting to the test is Walter White’s preferred method of disposing of bodiesラaka: dissolving them with acid.
I always enjoy MythBusters, and now they’re combining that with my favorite TV showラthis special should be a whole lot of fun! I can’t wait to see what other aspects of Breaking Bad they’ll be trying to recreate. Although, something tells me that won’t include an attempt to make 99.1% chemically pure Blue Sky meth!
Find out which “myths” are confirmed, which are plausible, and which are busted tonight on Discovery Channel at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Under the Dome, Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls, Siberia, Switched at Birth, Major Crimes, King & Maxwell, The Glades, and Teen Wolf.

I’m still on the fence about Under the Dome. Last week, the show decided to put the sic-fi aspect more to the forefront. It came as a surprise, even though the show is based on a book by Stephen King. The show, for me, continues to struggle to find balance, but it still not a bad show. I’m mostly invested in the characters, which is most important. But I am glad this show airs during the less-busy summer season.
On tonight’s episode, “Thicker Than Water,” Junior stand up to his father, but is shattered to learn about his mother’s past. Meanwhile, Julia learns about the powers of the Mini-Dome discovered last week.
See Junior and Big Jim fight on CBS at 10/9c.

I have to recommend The Glades tonight as well. I have no idea what they’re going to do with the whole Ray/Jeff thing, and I’m so anxious to find out. I do know that Jim has GOT to tell Callie soon. Keeping all this from her, even if he says it’s to keep her safe and what not, is a REALLY bad idea. Jeff is her son, Ray is her ex-husband, and this is her life and their safety. She needs to be in on it sooner, rather than later. I hope that nothing comes back to bite him in the ass about it. And on that note, I hope nothing comes back to bite Callie in the ass about the ball player that she gave the shots to. *sigh*
On tonight’s episode, “Civil War,” when a man is killed by a Civil War re-enactor’s sword, Jim must enter the fray to find which imaginary soldier committed a very real murder. Meanwhile, Callie makes a tragic discovery at work, while Jim receives foreboding news for Callie and Jeff.
To see what drama awaits them tonight, tune in to A&E at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, American Ninja Warrior, Major Crimes, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Restaurant Takeover, & The Shed.
