Happy first day of September! Television is a little slow tonight, but we can enjoy the break, because soon, it’s about to explode into a crazy busy schedule. Check out what Kyle and I are recommending for you to watch out of the short list of new TV on tonight.

For tonight, I think you should be watching TV’s Funniest of the Funniest: A Paley Center for Media Special on NBC. They will be celebrating the Top 30 funniest moments from the last 60 years, all ranked in order, leading up to number one. It’s hosted by the amazing Betty White, with scenes to giggle at from shows such as The Big Bang Theory, Will & Grace, Friends, and Taxi, just to name a few. We’ll see some of our favorite stars and hear some great behind-the-scenes commentary. Overall, it seems like a great way to kick of the fall TV season.
On tonight’s special, beloved stars featured in the clips will be interviewed, sharing revealing behind-the-scenes commentary about what led to each classic moment. It’s an engaging all-star salute to TV’s funniest scenes that television fans won’t want to miss.
To see what moments they chose, tune in to NBC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching Cutthroat Kitchen, The Great Food Truck Race, and Unforgettable.

These weekly cliffhanger endings to Breaking Bad are killing me! Last week, there was so much great stuff. First, Walt recorded what appeared to be his confession and gave the DVD to Hank. However, Hank and Marie watched in horror as Walter confessed to how Hank was responsible for everything and had plausible evidence for how it happened. Walter threatened to release the DVD if Hank didn’t back off. Meanwhile, Jesse was about to take off and start a new life in Alaska, when Heull’s pick-pocketing made him suddenly realize what really happened with the ricin cigarette. He stormed into Saul’s office, beat him up, and then headed to the White home, where he started dousing the place in gasoline.
What will stop Jesse from burning down the White home? Is he the one who spraypaints the “Heisenberg” on the wall that we saw in the premiere? What will Hank’s next move be? Todd’s heading back into town and seems to be talking a lot about “Mr. White”—perhaps Hank can find a new source! With only 5 episodes left, I can’t wait to see how this all plays out!
On tonight’s episode, “Rabid Dog,” an unusual strategy starts to pay off, while plans are set in motion that could bring major change.
Find out if there’s another cliffhanger ending tonight on AMC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Big Brother, The Great Food Truck Race, Cutthroat Kitchen, and Talking Bad.
