I’ve been complaining for the last few days that there wasn’t very much on TV, but we all know that in a couple more weeks, I’ll be saying that I don’t have time for everything that’s on. 🙂 I suppose we should enjoy this lull before we jump into the swing of the new television season, so let’s see what’s on tonight.
We are down to the final four on MasterChef, and despite Kyle’s hate for her, Krissi is still in it! I get it. She has a horrible attitude, but I think she really is one of the most improved chefs overall. When she gets out of her own way, she is a great cook! Then again, so is Natasha, and I don’t like her very much, but would rather see her win instead of Luca. In the end, I’m not sure who are going to be the final two cooks, but whoever it is, there will be a good competition.
On tonight’s episode, “Top 4 Compete; Top 3 Compete,” the cooks split into two teams for the mystery box challenge; the remaining three contestants cook more sophisticated versions of the dishes they made in their initial auditions.
To see who makes it through to the Top 2, tune in to FOX at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching Duck Dynasty and Top Chef Masters.

Tonight, The League kicks off its fifth season on its new home of FXX. At the end of last season, Andre was engaged to Trixie and looking to start a family, but unfortunately, she turned out to be allergic to his “swimmers.” Shiva agreed to lift the curse on the guys if they renamed the trophy. And Taco threw the biggest New Years Eve party ever in order to reach his goal of a zero dollar bank balance to ring in the new year.
I’m looking forward to seeing what crazy antics the guys get up to this season. What will Taco’s next crazy money-making scheme entail? Will Andre and Trixie go through with the wedding, and if so, how will that change the dynamic of the group? And what kind of Sacko punishments has the group thought up for Ruxin?
On tonight’s premiere, “The Bachelor Draft,” the gang attend Andre and Trixie’s wedding in Los Angeles; later, Ruxin refuses his Sacko punishments.
Find out how wild the season starts tonight on FXX at 10:30/9:30c.
This season has been another funny one for this show. Victoria getting (another) serious relationship, Elka and Joy going to school, and the recurring role for Jay Harrington were great. The only thing that didn’t work for me was the live episode. Even though the show lends itself for a live show, the writing for that episode didn’t really work. Tonight, two new episodes air, and it’s a Mary Tyler Moore reunion!
On tonight’s first episode, “Love Is All Around,” Elka and Mamie Sue decide to get their bowling team back together. Mary Tyler Moore, Cloris Leachman, Valerie Harper, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Georgia Engel, & George Hamilton guest star.
Then on the second episode—and season finale—”The Man That Got Away,” Victoria’s wedding day has arrived, and Elka helps Joy to reunite with the father of her child. Craig Ferguson, Alan Dale, & Nick Searcy guest star.
Find out what craziness Elka and Mamie Sue get into and if Victoria goes through with the wedding on TV Land at 10/9c & 10:30/9:30c.
I’ll also be watching MasterChef, Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy, and The Challenge.

Tonight is the series finale of Futurama. After 7 seasons and 4 direct-to-video movies, spread across an impressive 14-years, one of my favorite animated series finally comes to a close (again) tonight. At this year’s Comic-Con, I got to see a table read of the first act of tonight’s finale, plus an early look at the second act. So I’ve been anxiously awaiting the final act to see how the series comes to a close! I will really miss Futurama, but at least there’s always the comics and the upcoming crossover episode of The Simpsons!
On tonight’s episode, “Meanwhile,” Fry proposes to Leela, and they face their future as the Professor’s latest invention alters the fabric of time.
To see how the series ends, tune in to Comedy Central at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Big Brother, Camp, MasterChef, Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy, Top Chef Masters, Royal Pains, Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, & Broadchurch.
