Anyone have $600 they can spare? *sigh* I’ve been having keyboard issues on my laptop, so I ordered a new one. It had to ship from China. Then we got it, only to find it didn’t fit, even though my laptop model was on the list of compatible ones. Okay, fine, was going to have to ship it back to China and get a new one shipped to me. Then…my power cord port into the laptop started having issues connecting. Since this is between 4-5 years old, I have to face facts that I’m going to have to pony up the money to get a new one. *cry* I can’t afford that—what with Christmas, a whole whopping load of family birthdays over the next three months, and my son starting some medical stuff that will cost us a ton of money, even after insurance. (We already owe $1100 for tests!) So yeah, needless to say, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. It’s a good thing that there’s some great TV on tonight to distract me! Here’s what we’re recommending!

Last week’s Castle ended Beckett’s career in D.C., and I couldn’t be happier. I enjoyed her time there—in fact, I think that would make an AWESOME spin-off—but I missed the gang being back together. We got hints of that last week as Beckett and McCord worked in NYC with/against Castle & the boys, but in the end, when Beckett did the right thing for the witness, it cost her her job. Of course, then we had the cute moment of Castle telling her he’d bought them an apartment in D.C. and he was moving up there because he could work from anywhere. I’m excited to see how Beckett gets her job back, as well as see how the new guy either stays or goes, and to see if Lanie FINALLY makes an appearance! On a side note, I really wasn’t pleased with how McCord fired Beckett. Standing there in the doorway, with the door open, and loud for anyone inside or out of the apartment to hear. Rude, much?
On tonight’s episode, “Number One Fan,” a desperate young murder suspect, Emma Briggs (guest star Alicia Lagano, The Client List), takes hostages at gunpoint, then mysteriously insists that she will only negotiate with one person: Richard Castle. Billy Miller (The Young and the Restless) also guest stars.
Find out why the murder suspect wants to speak with Castle tonight on ABC at 10:01/9:01c.

As much as I love Usher, I am not missing him at all this season on The Voice. It is so nice to have the original four mentors together, because they have a really great chemistry, which makes for amusing television. Last week during the final blind auditions, we got to see Blake moonwalk and Adam lie on the ground sulking. I was giggling a lot. I’m looking forward to the battle rounds because there are so many talented singers, it’s bound to be a musical bloodbath.
On tonight’s episode, “The Battles Premiere,” the battle rounds begin; advisers Cher, Ed Sheeran, Miguel, and Ryan Tedder help the coaches decide which artists to keep.
To watch the singers lay it all in the ring, tune in to NBC at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching Sleepy Hollow, Bones, 2 Broke Girls, Mom, Hostages, The Blacklist, Hart of Dixie, and Beauty and the Beast.

I was worried at first when they said this season of How I Met Your Mother would all take place over the course of the wedding weekend, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Last week, Barney told Ted that he forgave him for having feelings for Robin, but the ridiculous list of Best Man favors he asked Ted to perform tipped Ted off to the truth. Meanwhile, Robin was upset that she didn’t get a bachelorette party, until she realized that Lily was her only girlfriend. Some folks seem to dislike the remote Marshall storyline, but I’ve been enjoying his wackiness so far. I just want to see him or some of the other friends interact with the mother. I hope we see more of the mom soon—I thought for sure we would see her last week when Robin was trying to find another girlfriend!
On tonight’s episode, “The Poker Game,” Barney receives family/relationship advice from Lily when Robin has a disagreement with Barney’s mother and brother, while Ted and Marshall disagree over wedding gifts and thank-you-note etiquette.
Find out what Robin is fighting over tonight on CBS at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording 2 Broke Girls, Mom, Hostages, Castle, The Blacklist, Bones, Sleepy Hollow, and Hart of Dixie.

Last week’s Bones was all about getting rid of Pelant, which they did. But in the process, he killed Agent Flynn. Booth and the team felt very guilty, since it was their plan to try to trick Pelant and draw him out. Overall, I’m very glad the Pelant story line is done, but I think they dropped the ball a little in how they wrapped it up. It felt too fast, too clean, too easy… After the trouble he’s caused them, the time they’ve put in to his character & stories, it was just wrapped up too easily in a neat package with a pretty little bow. That said, even on a bad day, this show is still one of my favorites. I’ve seen next week’s wedding episode, and I snot-sobbed my way through it. So yay!
On tonight’s episode, “The Lady on the List,” the Jeffersonian team is left with the job to look into the bucket list of their latest case, a high school principal with terminal cancer, in order to find the answers to what led to his death. Brennan and Booth begin to plan out their wedding. Chuck Liddell (Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion) guest stars.
See how the victim’s bucket list affects Booth and Brennan tonight on FOX at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Sleepy Hollow, & The Blacklist.
