I’ve come to love and hate Sundays. It’s such a conundrum! Regardless of your feelings for this first day of the new week, there’s some great stuff on, so check out our recommendations. 🙂

Last week’s episode of The Mentalist shocked the bejeezus out of me. I really thought Kirkland was Red John. But Reede Smith (who I still don’t think is RJ) killed him. Honestly, at this point, I’m completely clueless. *laugh* It was great to see Madeline Hightower again. Her time with both Jane and Lisbon was great. We’re closing in on the end of the Red John arc, and I’m interested to see how they wrap it up (I just hope it’s wrapped up more spectacularly than the Pelant story line on Bones!) and where they go from there.
On tonight’s episode, “The Red Tattoo,†when a prominent member of Visualize is mysteriously killed, Jane investigates in the hopes that the case will provide a clue that will lead him to Red John. Reed Diamond & Beth Riesgraf (Leverage) guest star.
See if Jane can narrow the field of RJ suspects down again tonight on CBS at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing America’s Funniest Home Videos, Cousins Undercover, Guy’s Grocery Games, Halloween Wars, & Cutthroat Kitchen.

There are a lot of reality competition shows that I stopped watching after a while (Survivor and Big Brother), but The Amazing Race continues to be a favorite of mine. The Canadian version ended about a month ago, and while I was disappointed in who won, the race itself was pretty great. Now the new season of the original is in full swing, and what a season it’s been so far!
Last episode, we watched the teams race to Norway and play with fish in the midnight sun. How crazy is it that it was light out all day? I don’t think I’d be able to live there. Anyway, the teams had to impale fish heads on a spear and then string them up, which honestly didn’t gross me out. The other choice in the road block of pounding the dried fish to get 1 KG of fish jerky grossed me out because I could just imagine the nasty smell of it. Ick! My favorite team of Brandon and Adam kicked some serious butt at the challenge, but I actually love these guys because of how hard they work and how well they get along. Later, when Tim & Marie failed to find the part of the clue that gave the pit stop location, they were driving around lost. The doctors (Travis & Nicole) offered to give them the location in exchange for the Express Pass, but when we left off, Marie was refusing. Why? I mean it’s not going to get her anywhere if she gets lost. In the end, Brandon and Adam came first, then found out that the race is still going!
On tonight’s episode, “Get Our Groove On,” the racers try to keep up during a polka challenge in Gdansk, Poland; teams are impacted by a double U-turn.
To see how the teams finish in Norway and who hits the mat first in Poland, tune in to CBS at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching Drop Dead Diva, Witches of East End, The Mentalist, Once Upon a Time, Alaskan Women Looking for Love, and The Walking Dead.

It’s been a tense season of The Good Wife, with the associates secretly planning to launch their own firm. Last week, Diane finally put the pieces together, figuring out that Alicia must be one of those plotting to leave. She confirmed her suspicions by bluffing to a client and then immediately went and told Will the bad news.
How will Will react, and what actions will he take to stop Alicia, Cary, and the others from stealing all their clients? With Diane leaving for her judgeship, can the firm even survive, especially if they lose major clients like Chumhum? Tonight’s dramatic and tense episode picks up immediately where we left off last week. This is a can’t-miss hour of television!
On tonight’s aptly-titled episode, “Hitting the Fan,” Alicia and Cary’s plans to leave the firm are exposed and a desperate battle to retain clients begins.
Find out how Will reacts tonight on CBS at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Amazing Race, The Mentalist, Once Upon a Time, Guy’s Grocery Games, Cutthroat Kitchen, The Walking Dead, Talking Dead, Drop Dead Diva, Witches of East End, Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited, Hello Ladies, Homeland, and Masters of Sex.
