I’m back after a weekend of internet issues due to a genius driver who drove into our poles and other stuff for our subdivision. I wish more people would slow down a bit during the winter weather, or at least learn how to drive—either would make my life better and safer. Anyways, now I’m back, so let’s see what you should be watching on TV tonight.
Megan’s Choice
Brooklyn Nine-Nine makes me giggle non-stop with its insanity and quick-witted sarcasm. This is one of my favorite comedies these days, and I think that if you haven’t checked it out yet, you definitely should. Last week’s episode had Peralta trying to solve the mystery of who burned down his favorite pizza joint, Sal’s, with the help of Charles. Unfortunately, they had to get by the annoying Fire Investigator from the Fire Department—the enemies of the NYPD. It was very amusing to watch them try to get around the firemen, but in the end, they all worked together after Peralta told a sob story about how Sal’s is important because it was where his dad took him for pizza before his dad left. They figured out it was a competitor that did it, not Sal, and all was well. I love the chemistry of this cast, and at the end of the episode, I just want to see more.
On tonight’s episode, “Thanksgiving,†Amy wants to host a Thanksgiving dinner for the entire precinct.

Excuse me while I squee for a moment. *squees* My shipper heart absolutely sang last week while watching NCIS: LA. The case required Kensi & Deeks to go undercover, which is always my favorite story line. Deeks had to be an addict at a rehab center…but not as a drug addict: a sex addict. Hetty teasing them about Deeks going in as a nutritionist was hysterical. But the end was absolutely my favorite part. Deeks asked Kensi to go out for tacos or something, and instead, he took her to a fancy sit-down restaurant. She bagged on him about still never saying what he wants, and he suddenly said he didn’t want to be there with her; he wanted to be at his house with her. After watching him for a moment, she got up and walked out. He grinned and walked out after her.
That changes everything for their relationship, which I’ve wanted for a long time now. The only problem is, Daniela Ruah is going on maternity leave after this episode. Given that and the fact that you know it can’t be completely smooth sailing, something must happen tonight to throw a wrench in things. I have some ideas, based on things I’ve read and the preview for tonight’s episode, but I won’t say anything so I don’t spoil. 
On tonight’s episode, “The Frozen Lake,†Callen and Sam enlist the help of a Gurkha, an elite Nepali soldier specializing in knife fighting, to retrieve a missing thumb drive. Meanwhile, Kensi and Deeks struggle to find a balance in their partnership.

We are less than a month away from Christmas, and that means ’tis the season for an overload of holiday TV movies. Tonight, ABC Family is counting down to its annual 25 Days of Christmas by adding a brand new film to its repertoire. Christmas Bounty finds Manhattan teacher Tory Bell (Francia Raisa, Secret Life of the American Teenager) returning home to New Jersey to face an old enemy from her former life as a bounty hunter. How will her new fiancé take the news of her dangerous past and the fact that she’s working with her ex-boyfriend, Mike (WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz†Mizanin, The Real World, The Marine 3)?
I think it’s pretty safe to guess how this whole film is going to play out, but that’s always part of the fun of these lighthearted romantic holiday made-for-TV films. They are always the perfect thing to watch to help get into the holiday spirit!

JJ’s Choice
Somehow, my expectations for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have been higher than what has been delivered. I mostly watch it as a nerdy pleasure, but it’s time for the show to ramp up the proceedings. Introduce us to a Big Bad and an overarching story more interesting than “Haiti is a magical place.†That could really elevate the show into something that we expect with Josh Whedon’s name attached to it. But for now, at least, Fitz Simmons is really funny.
On tonight’s episodes, “Repairs,†Coulson and his team are haunted by a mysterious force that threatens to destroy them all. And only a secret from Agent May’s past can save them.
