If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/27/13

While you Americans are all preparing for your Thanksgiving celebrations tomorrow, this Canadian girl is getting ready for Christmas! Yesterday, I spent the day putting up Christmas lights and playing in the snow with my little boy. I really do love this time of year. Tonight, I’m ready to kick back and watch some fabulous television, so let’s see what’s on tonight. We’re all taking a day off tomorrow for the holiday, so we’ll see you back again on Friday.

criminalminds1127smallCriminal Minds isn’t exactly everyone’s idea of a relaxing night, but it’s definitely at the top of my list. There’s something about watching this team solve a crime that excites me and makes me love my time on the couch. I’m a little curious as to what is going on with JJ and Cruz, because honestly, I hate not know things. 🙂 Last week’s episode was intense on a few levels, with the UnSub actually killing because of a horrible crime that was committed against him by some members of a hate group. He was seeking revenge, and honestly, I had a hard time not feeling bad for him, but at the end of the day, murder isn’t a way out.

On tonight’s episode, “The Caller,” when a young boy disappears from his home in St. Louis, the team examines a similar cold case for clues.

To see if they can find the boy, tune in to CBS at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching CSI, Restaurant: Impossible, Saturday Night Live, and The X Factor.

csi1127smallI’m so glad I got back into the CSI game last season, and I’ve enjoyed this season just as much as I did last. The hotel murders story line last week was creepy—whether I mean the murders themselves, the men spying on the guests, or the…stains on the bedding, I’m not sure. I think I mean all of those. I’m not sure I’ll ever be comfortable staying in a motel again. *gag* Although, the old guy in the room next to the murder room was pretty amusing. Creepy, yet amusing. Tonight’s episode looks great. I’m a bit ambivalent about Sara, but I love Finlay & Morgan, so this one looks really exciting and fun.

On tonight’s episode, “Girls Gone Wild,” a spa weekend for Sara, Finlay, and Morgan turns into a murder investigation and missing persons case when Finlay disappears, as the CSI team must piece together what happened in detail to find her.

Find out what happened to them and if the team can find Finlay tonight on CBS at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Sound of Music Live!: The Making of The Sound of Music Live!, & Criminal Minds.

yodachronicles1127smallTonight, Cartoon Network finishes off their Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles trilogy with “Attack of the Jedi.” When we last saw Tatooine, Darth Sideous and Count Dooku had created an army of cloned clones. As Yoda had business to take care of, he left the padewans in Anakin’s care, but he didn’t want to just sit around, so he took it upon himself to join the fight. A space battle ensued, and the Sith command ship was destroyed, along with all the cloned clones.

So what evil plan will Sideous and Dooku hatch next, and will Yoda be able to stop them once and for all? These Lego Star Wars specials are always a lot of fun—there is so much layered humor that works for both adults and kids alike. I’m looking forward to seeing how it all comes to a close tonight.

On tonight’s episode, “Attack of the Jedi,” Yoda enlists the help of Jek 14 to stop Darth Sideous and Count Dooku from training an army of young Sith Lords!

Note: If you missed the first two installments of The Yoda Chronicles, Cartoon Network is re-airing them before tonight’s all-new finale.

See how it ends tonight on Cartoon Network at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Survivor, Criminal Minds, CSI, and The Making of The Sound of Music Live!
