Tonight is the series premiere of Blood, Sweat & Heels on Bravo at 9/8c. The show includes a group of up-and-coming movers and shakers in New York’s elite circles of real estate, fashion, and media. The women featured on the show include former “video vixen” turned realtor Melyssa Ford, real estate partner Brie Bythewood, modeling agency owner Mica Hughes, affordable-style expert Daisy Lewellyn, A Belle in Brooklyn blogger and author Demetria Lucas and style and pop culture journalist Geneva S. Thomas. From Harlem to Brooklyn, life in the big city often resembles a small town when the women cross paths in their personal and professional lives. The self-starters built their reputations and successes without the help of a man, but they never underestimate the power of a girlfriend’s support. These independent ladies are aggressive in their pursuit of personal and career goals, but will the cost of success prove too steep as they climb their way to the top?

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Curse of Oak Island on History Channel at 10/9c. In the North Atlantic is a mysterious, and possibly booby-trapped island that has fired the imagination of treasure hunters for more than 200 years. Oak Island could be hiding one of the greatest treasures in history, but no one has ever been able to crack the code of how to get at it. Fortunes have been spent and lives have been lost. A prophecy says that seven people will die before the treasure is found, and six have died in various accidents already. In the new series, two brothers from Michigan will take new technology and old-fashioned knowhow and attempt to discover what’s buried there once and for all. No one knows what’s buried at Oak Island. Theories range from pirate treasure to Shakespeare’s Lost Folios to a priceless religious artifact brought over by the Knights Templar. The myths of the island have proven irresistible to many, including historical figures like John Wayne, Errol Flynn and Franklin D. Roosevelt, who all financed or took part in digs in what’s become one of the longest treasure hunts in history.

Tonight is the series premiere of Intelligence on CBS at 9/8c. The show is a dramatic thriller starring Josh Holloway (Lost) as a high-tech intelligence operative enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his brain. With this implant, Gabriel (Holloway) is the first human ever to be connected directly into the worldwide information grid and have complete access to Internet, WiFi, telephone and satellite data. He can hack into any data center and access key intel in the fight to protect the United States from its enemies. Leading the elite government cyber-security agency created to support him is Director Lillian Strand (Marg Helgenberger, CSI), a straightforward and efficient boss who oversees the unit’s missions. Strand assigns Riley Neal (Meghan Ory, Once Upon a Time), a Secret Service agent, to protect Gabriel from outside threats, as well as from his appetite for reckless, unpredictable behavior and disregard for protocol. Other skilled members of the Cybercom team include Chris Jameson (Michael Rady, Emily Owens, M.D.) and Gonzalo “Gonzo” Rodriguez (James Martinez, Low Winter Sun, Gravity), two resourceful federal investigators. The brains behind the design of the chip is Dr. Shenendoah Cassidy (John Billingsley, True Blood, The Nine), whose son, Nelson (PJ Byrne, The Game), is jealous of Gabriel’s prominent place in his father’s life. As the first supercomputer with a beating heart, Gabriel is the most valuable piece of technology the country has ever created and is the U.S.’s secret weapon.

Tonight is also the series premiere of 100 Days of Summer on Bravo at 10/9c. This new series chronicles a group of young, successful and driven Chicagoans as they navigate the ups and downs of their personal, professional, and social lives in the Windy City over one intense summer. Hooked into Chi-Town’s hottest industries, these nightlife impresarios, fashionistas, real estate moguls and entrepreneurs include Vincent Anzalone, Ray Austin, Tara Clack, Phillips Demming, Jay Michael and Pascale Wellin. They all work hard in business, play hard in life and attempt to navigate the sometimes murky waters that fall in between. In desperate need of relief from Chicago’s long-lasting winters, these go-getters only have a scant 100 days to accomplish the lofty personal and professional goals they set for themselves. Some will succeed and some will fail, but they all will be changed forever.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Being Mary Jane on BET at 10/9c. The network’s first one-hour scripted drama focuses on the life of successful cable news anchor, Mary Jane Paul (played by Gabrielle Union). She seems to have it all; intelligence, drive, a beautiful home, a fancy sports car, and a lavish closet of designer shoes. Yet something is missing from her American Dream – a family of her own. Throughout the series, audiences get to know Mary Jane more intimately as they watch her life progress. As viewers experience her journey, the series will peel back the layers that uncover who she really is and the people that help define her – her family, colleagues, friends and lovers.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Escaping the Prophet on TLC at 10/9c. The show documents the efforts of former FLDS member Flora Jessop as she helps families flee the community. It follows Flora Jessop on her mission to take down one of the most reportedly dangerous polygamist cults in America. Flora, a social activist, an advocate for abused children, and the author of the 2009 book Church of Lies, had endured extreme physical, mental, and sexual abuse during her life in the church, until she escaped at the age of 16. Now, she works closely with law enforcement, the Attorney General of Arizona, and a network of inside informants to help rescue runaways and extract victims within the community, as well as help empower families who chose to stay and fight. Using her difficult memories and her passion to help others, she works to deliver justice to the very people that she feels wronged her.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Killer Women on ABC at 10/9c. Of all the notorious lawmen that ever patrolled the violent frontier, none are more storied than the Texas Rangers. Ballsy and badass Molly Parker (Tricia Helfer, Battlestar Galactica) is one of the first women to join this elite group of law enforcement agents. The show takes us inside the dangerous world of the Texas Rangers from a female perspective. Molly is committed to finding the truth and seeing justice served. In a male-dominated world, she is aided by her sixth sense for why women kill — rarely out of hatred, usually for what they love. Standing squarely behind her is her boss, Company Commander Luis Zea. Molly also has the support of her loving family, including her brother Billy and his wife Becca. On the verge of getting divorced from her narcissistic husband, Jake, Molly relishes her newfound freedom as she begins an affair with a sexy, dangerously handsome DEA agent, Dan Winston. It stars Tricia Helfer as Molly Parker, Marc Blucas (Necessary Roughness, Buffy the Vampire Diaries) as Dan Winston, Marta Milans as Becca Parker, Michael Trucco (Battlestar Galactica) as Billy Parker, and Alex Fernandez as Luis Zea.

Tonight is the series premiere of Chicago PD on NBC at 10:01/9:01c. The show is a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s District 21 who put it all on the line to serve and protect their community. District 21 is made up of two distinctly different groups: the uniformed cops who patrol the beat and go head-to-head with the city’s street crimes and the Intelligence Unit that combats the city’s major offenses – organized crime, drug trafficking, high profile murders and beyond. The vast responsibilities that these jobs entail extend far beyond the walls of the precinct, often taking an emotional toll on personal lives of these men and women. At the helm of the Intelligence Unit is Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), a man not against crossing legal and ethical lines to ensure the safety and security of the city he loves. It’s not unknown for him to be an ally one minute and the worst enemy the next. Working hand-in-hand with Voight is Detective Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda). More levelheaded and honest than his counterpart, Antonio put his reservations about Voight aside to help the Intelligence Unit track down Chicago’s most dangerous criminals while acting as a role model for the younger officers. Rising through the ranks in the Intelligence Unit is Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), a brash young detective who earned his spot on the team with the aid of Antonio’s endorsement. Halstead’s partner is tough, no-nonsense Detective Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush). Lindsay grew up on the street but was lifted to a better life when Voight took her in as a teenager. Halstead and Lindsay’s close working relationship may be shifting into something more personal but won’t if Voight has anything to do with it. The precinct also includes Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas), an experienced undercover detective and confidant for Voight; Kyle Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), a quick-witted cadet plucked from the police academy to join Olinsky on undercover assignments; Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins), a charismatic uniformed patrolman who loves to throw a great party; Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati), a uniformed patrolman who strives to one day become a part of the elite Intelligence Unit; and Sheldon Jin (Archie Kao), the neat and meticulous detective in charge of surveillance and tech ops.

Tonight is the series premiere of Appalachian Outlaws on History Channel at 10/9c. Deep in Appalachia, there’s a war brewing over an ancient crop valued at $600 a pound. Supply can’t keep up with demand and it’s causing fierce competition inside and outside the law. This mountain gold is ginseng, and there’s a frenzied race to harvest it during its short two-month season. The show profiles the growers, the diggers and the middlemen in this dangerous new world money grab. Whoever controls the ginseng, controls the mountains. People will steal it, risk jail time and even their lives to get their hands on it. Over-harvesting in Asia has increased demand, pushing prices to an all-time high, and people are rushing to cash in. It so happens the Appalachian Mountains have just the right elevation, rainfall and mineral-rich soil to produce the best wild ginseng in the world, but it’s only legal for digging from the end of summer until the first frost. To prevent over-harvesting in the U.S., some states have started regulating where it’s legal to pull ginseng, which has made territorial lines even blurrier than before. And with ginseng fever heating up, outsiders are creeping in on local’s territory to find it, causing massive turf wars over this heavily revered root.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Spoils of Babylon on IFC at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. Grab a bottomless glass of scotch and hold onto your leather library chair for The Spoils of Babylon, a momentous and sweeping tale of forbidden love, betrayal, corruption and bloodshed. The gripping six-part saga features Jessica Alba, Will Ferrell, Jellybean Howie, Val Kilmer, Tobey Maguire, Haley Joel Osment, Tim Robbins, Michael Sheen, Steve Tom and Kristen Wiig with a cameo by David Spade and the voice of Carey Mulligan. Legendary author Eric Jonrosh (Ferrell), the undisputed master of fiction, personally opens and closes each episode, introducing audiences to the storytelling genius behind the brilliant adaptation of his best-selling novel, a sweeping chronicle of the provocative and captivating exploits of the Morehouse family.

Tonight is the series premiere of Enlisted on FOX at 9:30/8:30c. The show is an irreverent and heartfelt single-camera comedy about three brothers on a small Florida Army post and the group of misfits who surround them. Charming, funny and a natural-born leader, Staff Sergeant PETE HILL (Geoff Stults, Ben and Kate, The Finder) was on a path for a huge military career until one mistake overseas got him booted stateside to Fort McGee, the post in Florida where his two younger brothers are stationed. Now, as their platoon sergeant, Pete must serve both as big brother and military boss. Corporal DERRICK HILL (Chris Lowell, Private Practice, Veronica Mars) is the middle brother – smart and sarcastic, he likes to stir up trouble and doesn’t really care about being a soldier. Private RANDY HILL (Parker Young, Suburgatory), on the other hand, loves it. He’s the hyper-enthusiastic, hyper-goofy – just plain hyper – youngest brother who wants to be the gung-ho “G.I. Joe” military ideal. The Hill brothers all serve in the Rear Detachment (Rear D) unit, comprised of the soldiers left behind when everyone else is deployed, who mow lawns on post, sort mail, wash tanks and find lost dogs. But the Rear D’s main job is taking care of deployed soldiers’ families. Whatever they need, the Rear D soldiers do. It’s a job that shifts each moment from the thrilling to the mundane to the emotional and back again. Fort McGee Rear D is run by Command Sergeant Major DONALD CODY (Emmy Award winner Keith David, Cloud Atlas, The Cape), a firm but fair man who served with the brothers’ late father. Sergeant Major Cody promised to look out for them, so he brought all the brothers to the post to fulfill that promise. Cody has seen it all and lost a foot to prove it – which no one can forget, since he never misses an opportunity to bring it up. Also under Cody’s command is the confident, funny, tough and beautiful Staff Sergeant JILL PEREZ (Angelique Cabral, Friends with Benefits), who is the same rank as Pete and leads another Rear D platoon on post, all the while challenging Pete’s decisions at every turn.

Tonight is also the 90-minute series premiere of Helix on Syfy at 10/9c. The show is an intense thriller about a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who travel to the high-tech research facility, Arctic BioSystems, to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that may hold the key to mankind’s salvation or total annihilation. However, the lethal threat is just the tip of the iceberg, and as the virus evolves, the chilling truth begins to unravel. Billy Campbell (Killing Lincoln, The Killing) stars as Dr. Alan Farragut, leader of the Centers for Disease Control outbreak field team called upon to investigate and control a potential outbreak. Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine, 47 Ronin) also stars as Dr. Hiroshi Hatake, director of Arctic BioSystems and its mysterious viral research program. Helix also stars Kyra Zagorsky (Supernatural) as Dr. Julia Walker; Mark Ghanimé (Emily Owens, M.D.) as Major Sergio Balleseros; Jordan Hayes (House at the End of the Street) as Dr. Sarah Jordan; Meegwun Fairbrother as Daniel Aerov; Catherine Lemieux (White House Down) as Dr. Doreen Boyle, and Neil Napier (Riddick) as Dr. Peter Farragut.
