I’m happy to say that I’m on the mend after being diagnosed with double pneumonia and a kidney infection. Thank God for antibiotics and napping. Now that I’m feeling more myself, I’m catching up on TV, and just in time for a busy week of new television. Let’s see what we’re recommending tonight.

The Mindy Project has been all over the map with Mindy’s love life this season, and I have to admit that I am loving it. At first, I wanted her and Danny to get together, and while I still do want that, I have figured out that I want it to take a little bit longer. Mindy and Cliff are adorable together, but last week, we watched as Mindy panicked about a weekend away with him, which meant there would be a bikini. Danny ended up being roped into being Mindy’s personal trainer, and he actually knew exactly how to motivate her, using TV references. Then it all went awry when Mindy headed to the steam room naked, thinking it was a girls’ only, but was shocked to see Danny sitting there, and she found out it wasn’t a nude steam room. Danny took off his towel to offer it to Mindy, so then he, too, was naked. Mindy ended up slipping, and Danny is more than familiar with her naked body now. In the end, Danny told her she had nothing to worry about except she needed to stop sucking in her gut so much and that she should grow her pubic hair out. I tell you, I was crying, I was laughing so much during this episode. There is never a dull moment when Mindy is involved, and I can’t wait to see where else they take this zany group of friends next.
On tonight’s episode, “L.A.,” Jeremy sends Mindy, Danny, Peter, and Morgan to Los Angeles to get cosmetic injectables certification.
To see how they handle the west coast, tune in to FOX at 9:30/8:30c.
Jump with us to see else we think you should watch.

Last week’s NCIS ended after Parsa, the terrorist the team’s been searching for for a while now, sent a drone to bomb the very party that McGee and Delilah were attending. Luckily, McGee was outside on the phone with Tony when the bomb hit. Delilah, unfortunately, was inside, and unless you saw the preview, you don’t know what happened to her. Bishop took it pretty hard and wanted to be there at the hospital for McGee, but Gibbs told her to get her head in the game and get to work, since Parsa escaped—barely.
Tonight is the conclusion to that episode. Will Delilah live or die? Will the team catch up to Parsa? How will McGee and Bishop handle things this week?
On tonight’s episode, “Double Back,†in an effort to find the terrorist Parsa, Gibbs and the NCIS team track down one of his cohorts using evidence from the drone attack. Meanwhile, an emotionally shaken McGee struggles with the ramifications of the incident.
Find out the outcome from the drone attack tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

Tonight, the sixth season of Syfy’s special-effects make-up reality competition series, Face Off, kicks off with 15 new contestants battling it out for the big prize. This year, the contestants come from all over the country and from all walks of life—they include a lab technician, a pastry chef, an automobile factory worker, a monster sculptor, and a chemist. And later this season, the contestants will even travel to Tokyo, Japan, to create their own anime characters based on their alter egos. I’m looking forward to seeing what wonderful creations these talented new folks come up with, what amazing guests appear on the show, and what other twists are in store for this season!
If you missed any of last season’s competition, Syfy will be marathoning all 13 episodes starting at 8am ET today, leading up to tonight’s season premiere.
On tonight’s episode, “Sexy Beasts,” contestants taking on the task of creating beasts to be paired with beauties.
Meet all the new contestants tonight on Syfy at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, Killer Women, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Supernatural, Justified, Cougar Town, and Kroll Show.

NCIS: LA has been pulling on my heart strings all season, and I can’t wait to see what happens next. When we last left our team, they were toasting the holidays, and Hetty had a surprise or two for Kensi. Hetty sent Kensi an untraceable satellite phone with two numbers programmed; one was her, and the other was another untraceable satellite phone, which was left with Deeks from Hetty, as well. I was in tears when Kensi and Deeks got to talk to each other, which either means that this show has amazing writing, or I’m a hopeless romantic. Wait… Can’t it be both? 🙂 We also learned from Hetty that she wants Kensi to be keeping an eye out for a traitor amongst the group she’s staying with, because something isn’t adding up with how the enemy always knows where they’ll be. I’m glad they’re finally giving us a bit more story as to why Kensi is away, and I’m also glad that we are getting to see more Kensi and Deeks. Besides the romantic stuff, I’ve been loving all the intense cases this season and how the team is utilizing Nell more in the field.
On tonight’s episode, “Allegiance,” while in Afghanistan, Kensi and Granger join the team on a joint case when a federal agent in Los Angeles tied to Hawala, an ancient system of money transfer, is murdered.
To see how things go with our favorite team, tune in to CBS at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching NCIS, Dads, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Chicago Fire, New Girl, Ravenswood, Killer Women, Person of Interest, The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, and Pretty Little Liars.

I simply adore Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Last week, Rosa brought in a suspect on a case, and the guy asked to talk to Jake, saying he had information about a guy who steals Pontiacs. Jake thought for sure the guy would lead him to the Pontiac Bandit, who he’d been chasing for a long time, but it turned out the guy was incredibly smart and cunning and WAS the Pontiac Bandit. Poor Jake took quite the beating. The guy escaped. Jake kind of hurt Rosa’s feelings (leading him to doing a thousand push-ups, although, if I remember right, didn’t he then bargain to TWO thousand??). All that, plus he had to wear the pimp suit, which was crazy ugly. LOL Hopefully Jake will be back on his game this week!
On tonight’s episode, “The Bet,†Jake and Amy’s ongoing bet about who can make more arrests comes to a close. Meanwhile, Charles receives the Medal of Valor for getting shot in the line of duty, but the pain medication he is taking causes him to reveal his true opinions about his colleagues.
See why the ongoing bet comes to a close and how Charles really feels tonight on FOX at 8:30/7:30c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing NCIS: LA, The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, Chicago Fire, Cougar Town, Killer Women, & Person of Interest.
