I remember a time when I was so naïve as I watched the snow and I would say things like “it’s so pretty,” or “it’s like a new beginning with every snowfall.” It’s obvious I was delusional, because it’s official… I am completely done with winter. I just wish it was done with us! This winter has been so cold, and we’ve had an overabundance of snow. In order to block out the freezing doom outside, I’m just going to curl up and watch some fantastic TV. I suggest you do the same!
What better way to ward off the winter chills than with laughter, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a definite way to bring the giggles. This show never ceases to make me laugh or snort, which is exactly what we all need to let go of all our life’s stresses. On the special post-Super Bowl episode, we were treated to a cameo by Adam Sandler and a really strong episode. I loved the way the precinct banded together to stop “The Vulture” from stealing another case, but it was even funnier how the perp was so excited to have helped Jake that he confessed to killing his neighbor on top of the murder he’d already admitted to. It was sweet to see Jake admit to Santiago that he’d miss her if she transferred, and I’m glad that the show is foreshadowing a romance between these two. Overall, at the end of the day, I’m just ready for more of this show, so two episodes in one week is a beautiful thing.
On tonight’s episode, “The Party,” the officers in the precinct head over to Holt’s house to celebrate his birthday, but they wind up making a poor impression on his husband.
To see how bad the officers make themselves look, tune in to FOX at 9:30/8:30c.
I’ll also be watching NCIS, NCIS: LA, Dads, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Ravenswood, Person of Interest, Chopped, and New Girl.

I’m so glad NCIS (& the sequel) are back tonight! I’ve missed them both terribly. 😀 Before I talk about tonight’s episode, I just have to say I’m THRILLED with Scott Bakula’s casting on the new spin-off in New Orleans! I love him and think he’s a great choice. 🙂 On the last new episode in the middle of January, the team continued trying to track down Parsa using evidence from the drone attack, and McGee had to deal with the after effects, too…and the fact that Delilah is now paralyzed because of it. I think they’ll both be okay, but it was very emotional. (And seeing Kate’s sister, the psychiatrist) back was great.
On tonight’s episode, “Monsters and Men,” the murder of a port authority officer reveals Parsa’s possible whereabouts, as the team continues their tireless hunt. Meanwhile, Bishop reveals her past association with the elusive terrorist.
Learn about Bishop’s past association with Parsa tonight on CBS at 8/7c.
It seems like everything is about the 1980s these days. I loved the 80’s icon-filled Radio Shack Super Bowl ad this past weekend! I look forward to Tuesdays because I know I can always get my 80s fix with The Goldbergs. On the last episode, Adam wanted to attend his first school dance with Dana, but he was afraid because he didn’t know how to dance. He reluctantly asked for his mother’s help, but inadvertently opened the door, and Beverly took full advantage of it—she volunteered to chaperone the dance and even got herself an Adam-matching parachute pants outfit. Meanwhile, Murray was forced to have “the talk” with Barry, but Barry had already been told about the birds and the bees by his grandfather a few years earlier, so he decided to make the conversation as awkward as possible for his father.
This show is so much fun. I love all the 80s pop culture talk, like last week, when we learned that “Fraggles don’t own condos!” The Goldbergs may be a bit of a dysfunctional family, but in the end, they always come together to show that they really do all love and care for one another. This is a show with lots of humor and heart!
On tonight’s episode, “Muscles Mirsky,” Erica and Beverly agree to trust one another after an incident involving a fake diary entry, but things go sour when Erica sneaks out to go to a college party. Elsewhere, Adam realizes his friendship with Emmy may be more complicated than he thought.
Find out what happens when Erica sneaks out tonight on ABC at 9:01/8:01c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Trophy Wife, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Supernatural, Chopped, Cougar Town, Face Off, and Kroll Show.

Yay for a new episode of NCIS: LA. It’s been too long since the last one, which was a great one. Ehsan Navid was so cute when he was dressing in a suit to go undercover with Deeks and then trying to woo the woman he had a crush on. I was so glad he turned out to be a good guy, and seeing him getting so excited and then being sworn in to be a new citizen made me tear up. I love this show, although I really hope to see more Kensi & Deeks moments tonight! Even from LA to Afghanistan, their relationship has been great!
On tonight’s episode, “War Cries,” when two private military contractors are murdered, the teams’ investigation leads to a suspect who puts one of their own in serious danger. Meanwhile, Sam sets up Callen on a blind date.
See who’s in danger tonight on CBS at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Goldbergs, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Trophy Wife, Chopped, Cougar Town, Killer Women, & Person of Interest.
