I know we’ve discussed the crazy winter weather a lot this year, but honestly, what is with us getting ANOTHER cold front? Yes, I’m aware that I live in Canada, but I am so done with winter that I’m wondering if I start wearing my shorts and T-shirts, will Mother Nature get the hint?! While I continue to plan my petition for spring, let’s see what’s on TV tonight that we’re recommending.
Hawaii Five-0 is still a must-see for me, and not just because of Alex O’Loughlin, but because of the way the writers are able to keep it fresh after a few seasons. I have loved watching Kono and Adam go through their journey, but I’m so happy they are back with the crew. When we left our favorite island crime fighters, Steve and Danny had spent some time kidnapped by an escaped convict who wanted their help to prove he was innocent. In the end, Parrish got to prove to his daughter that he was, in fact, innocent, but unfortunately, he died before he could enjoy his freedom. We also saw Grace get suspended for hitting someone, but she was defending someone else, so Danny was able to look past it and accept the reason behind the actions.
On tonight’s episode, “Pale ‘la (Buried Secrets),” the team investigates the murder of a real-estate agent; Danny’s mother (Melanie Griffith) shares shocking news.
To see what Danny’s mom is like and what news she has for him, tune in to CBS at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching Grimm, Enlisted, and Blue Bloods.
Jump with us to see else we think you should watch.
It’s been far too long since Grimm’s last new episode, due to the Olympics. And they were so cruel about it, too, leaving us with a huge cliffhanger! Last time, Monroe’s parents came into town, and he was too chicken to tell them more information about Rosalee, who is a Fuchsbau—a fox-like creature—not a Blutbad—a wolf-like creature—like Monroe. When his parents realized what she was, they got angry and freaked out. (Why?? Simply because they are different creatures, or is there something about the Fuchsbaus themselves that his parents hate??) Of course, that was nothing compared to their reaction when Nick showed up unexpectedly and they realized Monroe was friendly with a Grimm. Eek! Chaos TOTALLY ensued. Then there’s the whole Adalind getting her powers back, Captain Renard joining forces side by side with the Resistence, and Nick and Hank’s case of the serial cop-killing scalper. All that culminated into a huge TBC at the end of the last new episode, so tonight’s resolution is much-anticipated!
On tonight’s episode, “Revelation,” Monroe fights an impossible battle to convince his parents (guest stars Dee Wallace and Chris Mulkey) to embrace the life choices he’s made. Meanwhile, Nick turns to Juliette to help him figure out the Wesen aspect of his cop-killing scalper investigation. On the Royal Baby front, Captain Renard learns new information that forces him to contact Adalind in the interest of keeping her and the baby safe from Viktor (guest star Alexis Denisof).
Find out how it all gets resolved—or if it does—tonight on NBC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Last Man Standing, The Neighbors, Enlisted, Hawaii Five-0, Raising Hope, Blue Bloods, & Diners, Drive-ins & Dives.
Tonight, everyone’s favorite cannibal serial killer returns for a second season of Hannibal. In the first season, the FBI enlisted Will Graham, a highly-empathetic and gifted criminal profiler, to help them track down the source of a series of gruesome murderers. As he followed the trail of the Chespeake Ripper, Will didn’t realize that the person behind the viscous killings was his own partner, Dr. Hannibal Lecter. As Will got closer to the truth, Lecter sacrificed his own protégé and framed Will for the murder, even making Will question his own innocence. The season finale found Will locked up, finally realizing that Hannibal wasn’t the man he thought he was.
How will Will convince everyone of his innocence? Will he go after Hannibal? And how will Hannibal keep others from discovering that he’s a cold-blooded killer?
On tonight’s episode, “Kaiseki,” Will fights to prove his innocence; Alana deals with a strained relationship with Will, and the FBI pays Will a visit. Cynthia Nixon and Gillian Anderson guest star.
See if Will can prove what he now knows tonight on NBC at 10:01/9:01c.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Neighbors, Grimm, Enlisted, Raising Hope, Inside Job, Save Our Business, Helix, and Banshee.
