Tonight is a sad night for pineapple lovers, as it’s the series finale of Psych. I have to admit that I have the previous few episodes on my DVR. I decided to save them up to watch all in a row after tonight’s episode. So I have no idea what’s happened since Jules left Santa Barbara without saying goodbye to Shawn. But the show has had an amazing run in its eight seasons, and I’m very, very sad to see it end. Hopefully everyone gets their happy endings and we get some awesome “Psych-out” moments in the finale.
On tonight’s episode, “The Break-Up,” Shawn and Gus work with Lassiter, Henry and Woody to solve the murder of a real estate executive; Shawn must make a life decision.
Following tonight’s 67-minute finale, there’s a 1-hour “Psych After Pshow” special, where the cast and show creator Steve Franks answer questions.

JJ’s Choice
Somehow, Baby Daddy still hasn’t figured out what to do about the romantic entanglement of the leads. Ben seems into Riley still, but Danny does as well, and Riley doesn’t seem to notice either one of them. It’s getting a little hard to watch, because to me, the writers need to decide what to do about these characters and work toward it. But the show is still so funny that I will forgive the writers this misstep.
On tonight’s episode, “An Affair Not To Remember,” Ben realizes that he dated Tucker’s new girlfriend and is convinced she’s only with Tucker to get back at Ben for their bad break-up. Meanwhile, Riley is delighted to be invited to participate in the firm’s spa day, but is shocked when she finds out Bonnie is also included in the outing.
