I love all the great new TV we’re getting lately. Shows are really amping up the good stuff as we get ready for sweeps. Speaking of good stuff… Kensi was back on NCIS: LA last night, and I was so happy! I love Nell, but I love her most when she & Eric have great scenes together, and of course, Kensi and Deeks are one of my favorite (non-couple) couples. Tonight is some more great television. JJ is busy with school & work, and Megan’s not feeling well, so Kyle & I are happy to share our recommendations!

Last week on Hot in Cleveland (which felt more like the season premiere than the actual live premiere did…), we learned—unfortunately, after she told her ex, Alec, in front of his friends, family, AND new girlfriend)—that Melanie isn’t really pregnant. She has cancer. The group was in shock, although I had a feeling last season that this was coming. Joy, on the other hand, was excited about her “baby daddy” being…semi-back in her life, so she was getting hit on left and right. She couldn’t figure out why until Elka told her it was because she wasn’t putting off the “desperate” vibe. Tonight, Craig Ferguson returns as said baby daddy, so that should be a lot of fun!
On tonight’s episode, “Dr. Who,” in order to get Wilbur into a prestigious preschool, Joy’s “baby’s” father, Simon, meets his son and grandson for the first time, and they all pretend to be a happy family. Meanwhile, Melanie and Elka are on a mission to find the perfect doctor. Craig Ferguson, Angela Kinsey, Michael McMillian, & Jason Kravits guest star.
See if Joy & her family pull it off and if Melanie finds who she’s looking for tonight on TV Land at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, Mixology, CSI, Chicago PD, & The Soul Man.

This has been a crazy season of Survivor—so many blindsides and big moves! Last week, the tribes merged, but there was still an obvious division, with one group having 6 people and the other with 5. At tribal council, Tony admitted to having an idol, and this sent the other group scrambling, telling each other to go with “the other one.” After the vote, Tony gave his idol to LJ, whom he assumed was their pick. So LJ, in turn, gave his idol to Tony. However, the other half of the tribe had thrown their votes toward Jefra, so they both realized that they’d wasted their idols. When the vote came down to five-five, Jefra vs Sarah, it was Sarah who went home, and it was revealed that Kass had turned on her group. Spencer was so upset, yelling at Kass that she now had no chance of winning.
The so-called nerd tribe is filled with a bunch of idiots. Kass had the numbers with her group—and even had the numbers within her subgroup of that group. It made no sense to jump ship to become number 6 on the other group. I totally agree with Spencer. She has no chance of winning. They should have taking the opportunity to remove one of the strongest players from the other group instead of letting personal feelings about people get in the way!
On tonight’s episode, “Mad Treasure Hunt,” the entire tribe goes on a wild hunt for hidden immunity idols; one castaway uses ninja-like skills to sabotage another player.
Find out who goes home tonight on CBS at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Criminal Minds, CSI, Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy, The Americans, Legit, Flipping Out, Save My Bakery, and Workaholics.
