Tonight is also the series premiere of The Wil Wheaton Project on Syfy at 10/9c. The 30-minute weekly topical comedy show is hosted by actor, blogger, and champion of geek culture Wil Wheaton and will offer a fast-paced, lighthearted exploration and celebration of all things within the realm of science fiction and genre entertainment. Each week, Wil provides his insider point-of-view, sense of humor and genre expertise as he dissects the week’s most popular and trending topics across science fiction film, television and pop culture, video games, viral videos and news. Wil is on his feet for the rapid-fire half hour, delivering witty commentary on the things he knows and loves in this golden age of sci-pop culture. The result is a fun appreciation and celebration of fandom and all things science fiction.
Finally, tonight is the series premiere of The Night Shift on NBC at 10:01/9:01c. The show focuses on the men and women who work the overnight shift at San Antonio Memorial Hospital. They are an irreverent and special breed, particularly adrenaline junkie T.C. Callahan (Eoin Macken, Merlin). After three grueling tours of duty in Afghanistan, T.C. is about to learn that his toughest battles will be fought right here at home. He and his team of late-night docs, including best friend Topher (Ken Leung, Lost) and protégé Drew (Brendan Fehr, Roswell), know how to let off steam with the casual prank or two, but when lives are at stake, they are all business. Unfortunately, the night shift is now under new senior management and boss Michael Ragosa (Freddy Rodriguez, Six Feet Under), who has to balance the real-world pressures of cutting costs while battling the stigma that he is more interested in saving money than helping people. The show also stars Jill Flint (Royal Pains), J.R. Lemon, Jeananne Goossen, & Robert Bailey Jr.

Saturday
Saturday is the 2-hour series premiere of Sing Your Face Off on ABC at 9/8c. The show is a talent variety competition featuring celebrities who are transformed and trained to perform as a legendary musical icon. Over the course of the series, the five celebrities – Sebastian Bach (legendary rock star from the band Skid Row), Landry Fields (NBA’s Toronto Raptors), Jon Lovitz (comedian, actor, singer), China Anne McClain (Disney Channel’s A.N.T. Farm), and Lisa Rinna (Days of Our Lives) will take on the identity of an iconic music performer. The celebrities could find themselves transformed into someone far older, younger or even someone of the opposite sex. From the hours in the makeup chair to the days spent with choreographers and vocal coaches, each show will feature the complete transformation – not just physical – the celebrities will embody everything about the assigned icon – their walk, their talk, and their distinguishing mannerisms leading up to the live performance in front of the studio audience. Viewers will get the chance to see each of the celebrities portray multiple musical performers during the series, such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Pavarotti, Pitbull, Britney Spears, and Tina Turner to name a few. John Barrowman (Arrow, Torchwood) is the host. Debbie Gibson and Darrell Hammond are the primary judges, while guest judges along the way will include David Allen Grier, RuPaul, Carnie Wilson, Richard Simmons, Tom Arnold, and Carmen Electra.
Tonight is also a new episode of The Graham Norton Show on BBC America at 11/10c, with guests Julie Andrews, Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, & musical guest Pharrell Williams.
