Yay for Wednesday, which means we’re halfway through the week. It’s all downhill from here! (which I’ve always thought sounded odd, like it’s a bad thing. LOL) Enjoy the rest of the week and the slower TV schedule, because summer TV is hitting hard next week. Still, there’s some great stuff on, so here are our recommendations. 🙂

Hot in Cleveland never fails to make me laugh. Last week, the ladies decided to accompany Victoria when she decided she needed to apologize to her college roommate (Maddie Banks — Kirstie Alley’s character on her own, probably canceled, sitcom on TV Land) for hiding the news of the audition for Sophie’s Choice and denying her the chance to get the role. Melanie, Joy, and Elka went along to cross things off their bucket list. Melanie was all about doing things that weren’t great for her, including sleeping with a stranger in an elevator (Maddie’s ex-boyfriend, played by cutie Mark Valley). Joy tried to audition for the Rockettes, only to be told she was too old. Elka tried to sell her new polish — which was full of pot — but it ended up taking off the engraving on Maddie’s Tony award. Oops. All in all, it was a fun & funny episode.
On tonight’s episode, “Undercover Lovers,” never-married Joy and Detective Bob make the decision to masquerade as a couple in love in order to go undercover; however, lines soon become blurred between the two of them. Elka learns that she now has a political rival.
Find out if Joy comes to her senses and realizes Bob isn’t the one for her tonight on TV Land at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing So You Think You Can Dance, Restaurant Stakeout, Motive, & Jennifer Falls.

Last week on Melissa & Joey, the couple’s walk down the aisle was interrupted by Joey’s discovery that he had a daughter he didn’t know about. So they put the wedding on hold so he and Mel could go visit the young girl. Ryder used the chaos to his advantage, conveniently breaking the news that he was not going to college. Meanwhile, Zander was upset that Lennox seemingly had feelings for Marco, and thinking they broke up, he immediately slept with his roommate—and of course Lennox walked in on them.
I still don’t understand why Mel and Joe didn’t just finish up their vows that day… It would have taken 5 minutes! All that wasted food and deposits, not to mention being totally inconsiderate to your guests who drove all the way there, especially if you are just going to get married a couple days later! And, similar to the one I complained about on Monday, I really hate this TV trope of someone misunderstanding a relationship status and immediately sleeping with someone else. Tonight is supposedly the night that the big wedding finally happens. I’m looking forward to that and seeing what they set up for next season.
On tonight’s season finale, “At Last,” Joe asks his family to move in before running this idea by Mel. Elsewhere, Marco and Zander both try to win over Lennox; and Ryder earns an odd credential after enrolling in an online course.
To see how the season ends, tune in to ABC Family at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Baby Daddy, Suits, and Graceland.
